435BP Universal Valve Seal Kit, Red, 3 Inch

After thinking our toilet needed an exorcism, I found out it was just this little mason-jar ring looking thing that needed replacing (thank you, YouTube!). In the middle of the night, the toilet just started to run, all by itself. So, I to Amazon and bought a set of these for each bathroom, knowing that once one goes, I can expect to replace them all shortly. Installation was all of 30 seconds. Works beautiful. I ordered 2 sets and tossed the second set in the cabinet in the second bathroom. Sure enough, the evil spirit moved from the master bathroom to the guest bathroom. Toilet #2 stated to run on its own again. In 30 seconds, I had it fixed. Any way. These are inexpensive (far more than an exorcist, probably). So I highly recommend ordering as many sets as you have toilets. They are inexpensive and will solve the problem!

It was easy enough to slip this ring onto my old American Standard Champion toilet tower, and it fixed the problems I was having with the toilet running. It saved me a plumber call for a tiny fraction of the price.It's kind of annoying that the ring I needed came in a two pack with a ring I couldn't use, feels like a waste, but at least it wasn't too expensive.

Let’s start by saying the product is perfectly fine. My issue is that it appears that you get 2 seals, which you do. BUT, here is the rub. 1 seal is for American Standard toilets and the other seal is for Kohler toilets. So yes, you get 2 pieces, but unless you have an American Standard toilet and a Kohler toilet, you actually only get one. Wondering why they just don’t package them separately and charge a little less for just 1.
