Folding Utility Razor (10-pack) for Survival & First Aid Kits (Orange)

Like many others in reviews I've read on here, I used these quite a bit when I was in the military. Super handy and versatile. They stay sharp quite a while, and the folding safety design is extremely convenient. Use them to scrape stickers, cut cardboard, small gauge wire, score material, and more. I always have to have a few of these around.

I had pocket full of these over the years from being an air force rigger and survival student. Our people got these by the box full for all kinds of work in the Air Force. I had to have some since I retired recently and these things are the exact brand and quality. Super sharp and disposable. But they hold the edge for a long time.

I have 3 older of these. The new cutter is very tight to swivel open to the full. At 80+ percent open it stops and you need to pull hard to get to full open. This is longer than my original old ones. The rivit axes, IMO, is crimped just a fraction to much which makes the blade harder to open the blade from the plastic base. The blade is sharp. I wish the crimped pivot axes used a larger hole so it could be used to go through with anything to attach to keyrings. Still a great item to have

My biggest issue with these is that I can't stop buying them! I find more and more places to stick these so they are close when I need one (and I need one all the time!). I have these in my purse, car, camper, drawer near the front door to open Amazon boxes when they arrive, bathroom cabinet, kitchen drawer, garage, bedside table (don't laugh! They work great for cutting tags off new clothes.) You name it and these come in handy! I've sharpened pencils with them and also shaved a marshmallow roasting stick with them. They are in every one of my survival kits and first aid kits. I had purchased 10 about 8 months ago, and purchased another 10 in a different color recently. I'm using green in the house. Orange is easier to see outdoors if you set it down or it drops in the grass. I give these as small stocking stuffers to my grown sons and they love them too. I haven't had one wear out yet, but when it does I won't feel bad tossing it since it only cost me $1.50.

These are great to throw in a little kit ot just have around the house. Don't have to worry about ruining them since there are just so many at such an affordable price. They are all sharp and ready for use! If I needed to I would buy more. Luckily these have lasted a long time and I still have a bunch! Even gave a few away.I absolutely recommend these.

Basically this is a razor blade that folds into a holder. These are made in the US to USmilitary specifications. US military orders thousands of these per year. Great in anemergency kit - very light duty, but very, very sharp. Good coupon cutter, too!Good for women to have in their purse, also.Note: I ordered a group of ten and each group of five came in its own handy carryingcase. A nice touch!

When you think of US made quality products, these are it. Strong, well engineered, quality materials and functionality in a compact form factor and reasonable price. You will use all 5 easy enough, think first aid kit, car glove box, tool box, night stand drawer, medicine cabinet etc. Just a perfect product and great idea.
