Good quality
I have the 33 ft. Perfect training length.

Great quality. The rubber grip and line of color are what you want on the trails.
Just tried this out today. LOVE it. I ordered the 15 ft. I already have two thin 25 ft one by a different vendor. I wanted something a little shorter and easy to manage but still give the dogs room to roam on our hikes. This length is perfect if you are more on trails and not in the middle of dense brush. The dog doesn't get so far ahead that he "forgets" you are there and you aren't carrying 20 feet of mud covered long line when you need to shorten up for some reason. I was skeptical about the rubber grip but it works great. The webbing is a little thicker on the line. Its more durable--between the heavier webbing and rubber grip its more strudy. I'm sure you can still strip the skin off you hand or leg if the dog bolts but I think for average pulling you have better control than the regular flat, thin nylon lines. The padded handle is really nice. I wouldn't use it for training situations where you want simulate off leash and need a lighter line, but for safe walk with your dog at liberty, this is great.

Pretty decent leads
I like the material the lead is made from, it has a sort of 'rubbery' feel and doesn't collect dirt (we let the dog run down out 600' driveway when we return from walkies. I have two of these, a 15' one and a 50' one. The second stitch on the handle loop of the 15' lead came loose and I had to stitch it up with my industrial sewing machine. Somebody wasn't paying attention in the Chinese factory where I assume these are assembled. Only one other minor complaint, the materiel the lead is made from has a 'memory' - it is tightly coiled up after assembly and it has taken a few weeks for the coil 'memory' to relax and not be all twisted up when used. The snap hook seems to be well made and I like the fact it isn't ferrous - no rusting! I'm not sure if the snap is stainless steel (it would have to be 300 series steel) or plated brass or bronze. I don't think it is a cheap pot metal casting.

Rubberized leash
Love it. Easier to hold than a traditional leash.

This is the best made long line, no rope burns
Wow... this is fabulous. Sturdy material double sewn with rubber grips. Medium weight and slightly stiff, this leash is excellent for training or just running around. My dog in training romped and played while dragging this, the stiffness resists tangling, and when it accidentally wrapped around my ankle or arm it did not rope burn me as the dog ran away. Easy to grab. Excellent for directed searches, tracking and SAR. The price was extremely fair for a line of this quality and length.

All around great long leash
I bought this because I needed a long leash for a multi-day car trip across the country with my cat and large (100lb) dog. My previous long leash was a simple flat braided nylon thing that had snapped and worn in multiple places and had been tied together in multiple knots. I just didn't trust it to hold if one or the other animal decided to make a serious run for it. Since that trip, I use it to tie up the same dog and cat outside while they wander the yard.I chose this one because it looked a bit sturdier than my last one, and indeed it is. While still flat and not super heavy, it's sturdy and I haven't seen the same kind of wear as it gets dragged around the yard as I did with the previous leash. Indeed, I don't think I've noticed any wear or fraying at all so far. I've used it only a few times on walks or in areas outside of the yard, but it seems to do well there also. The bright fluorescent stripe down the center is also a nice bonus, as it makes it immediately obvious where the leash is threaded when one or the other animal gets it caught on something.I was a bit concerned that the dog would chew on it (he's done that a handful of times to previous leashes). I DO think he could chew through it if he really wanted to, but it would take longer than a typical flat-nylon leash. It's also a little bit heavy to be 100% comfortable for the cat to drag around the yard, but I can't really complain about that since it's not meant to be a cat leash. I'm happy that it does that job as well as it does!

Durable, comfortable, easy to grip
So I go hiking with my GSD who's 8 months old. I don't trust him enough to let him off leash yet, but this gives me and him the feel of him having some independence while we hike. He takes the lead and will stop and check to see where I'm at constantly, which is boosting my confidence with him. It's a good distance to allow him to go out, I was worried about 50 ft being too much, so I went with the 33ft. It's a good distance, just wish it would have came in the green of the 50ft.Grip is great, leash is very durable, handle is comfortable. Definitely worth the purchase.

line is great, clasp not built strong enough
Bought this leash a year ago and loved it. We used this leash for recall training, as my German Shepherd is 100lbs and likes to take off after squirrels. We took him camping for the first time and tied him to the picnic table with this line. He saw another dog across the campsite and took off, still attached. Unfortunately, when he came to the end of the line, the metal completely snapped off where the two pieces were welded together. I plan on cutting off the remaining metal and replacing it with a more heavy duty clasp or carabiner. Besides the not so great metal piece, this leash is great!

This leash is strong, sturdy and easy on the hand.
This leash is does not hurt the hand like the thin nylon long leashes do.

Perfect for scent work
Good friction for a firm hold when it is coiled up. Very little tendency to tangle. Black/red coloring looks great.
