It was well received! It is solid and absolutely stunning. The music box is plenty loud and sounds great. If you're looking for a classy snow globe then you have found it. Excellent.

First one was a dud, replacement globe is gorgeous!
This globe is gorgeous! I actually had to return the first one I received and got a replacement. The first one had a tiny nick in the glass globe, a glue smear on the inside of the globe, VERY little snow glitter, and the music box only ran for a very short time. The replacement I received today had none of those issues. Lots of snow, music plays for a long time, and no defects. So, if you are dissatisfied with your globe, it is worth it to have Amazon replace it. I received my replacement the day after I requested it, so that was awesome, too. Very happy with this one!!
