Very complete drawing set! It's got the basic charcoal set you usually get at this price, but you also get a TON of really decent colored pencils. I love the case, too. Will definitely keep using it as I replace old pencils with new ones. I'm thoroughly impressed and I'm keeping this for myself at work!As I said, the charcoal pencils are pretty standard. This is the same set everyone gets. Smudge sticks are smudgy, the sanding stick is sandy, and the sharpener is pretty tight. (I love these little metal sharpeners.) They're decent enough, and worth using, for sure. Some are a little waxy, but they're exactly what I expected. I used the same ones through college, so..What sets this apart from any other set I've owned, though, are the colored pencils. Not only is this an excellent color selection, but they are also a lot better quality than I expected. They're actually really great! They are slightly waxy and all of the pencils I've used so far have been highly pigmented. The color matches nicely with the color on the end..No need for swatching. Makes it very easy to pick just the right color. They blend surprisingly well, and don't smudge.Comparable to a set of student Prismacolor.

A birthday gift for my grandnephew that proved to be a real hit. I spent a good deal of time comparing the quality of numerous colored pencil brands, and finally landed on this set. Not only were the reviews very good across the board as to the quality of the pencils, this portable kit had sharpening tools and additional graphite pencils, along with an enclosed sketch pad. I work with 2nd graders, so know the importance of portability and keeping sets of anything contained, together and easily accessible. Also, felt it a very good buy for the money. Bottom line, have already received several drawings, which delight me to no end!

I really enjoyed this coloring kit I’ve been coloring and sketching everyday the colors are amazing they have light to dark. As well as the sketching supplies the pencils are very good use as well as the stubs to blend they work really good the charcoal is my most favorite since I sketch more and it adds a good highlight to my sketch. I would recommend it for beginners or for a gift.

Looks nice it’s for a 12-13 yr old. It’s a present so will know more after gift is received

This set works great, I am an artist and have been taking art classes at u of m, this set has given me what I need, and I can store my pens in here.

Bought this set for my daughter. She didn’t seem too excited about it as she opened it up, threw it and continued to open other gifts. After it was all cleaned up, it was the first gift she used and she still is using it. I find her drawing at the kitchen table all the time with this set. Only problem is, it doesn’t put itself away. Which, I don’t expect that but would be nice if it did because turns out my daughter doesn’t like putting it away when not in use either…

My soon to be 12 year old Grandson loves to draw so this is something that he is going to love for his birthday. Better than the picture,, full of drawing essentials, and yet compact enough for easy transport., plus’s, and can be used on long rides or trips.We bought 2, one for him at home and one for our home. Definitely would recommend for any future artist.

Has nice selection of pencils lots of colors . In a nice case. Great gift added a few different size pads . Looks expensive.

Arrived on time and as described. Everything was in there. My daughter has not used it yet though as it is a xmas present. Well packaged so nothing was damaged. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the outside of the case is plain black. Would be nice to have some colour on it as it is an art set. Cheers :)
