A poorly designed piece of crap.
A piece of utter crap. The buckles fell apart before use. When repaired they proved nearly impossible to close, when closed they proved equally difficult to open without injury to ones fingers. In short, a waste of money and a warning not to buy anything but books through AMAZON.Only carried by AMAZON because the cost of returning it exceeds the purchase cost.

Read this before you order it, OTC please take note of how to improve your product
I am an Occupational Therapist with extensive experience on shoulders. I needed this brace for myself an ant. subluxed sterno-clavicular jt- for the non medical I dislocated the only bone to bone connection that connects your arm to your body at the breastbone/collarbone. I needed a way to stabilize this highly active area to permit some rest and traction. Overall I like the broad padded bands in front of the shoulder to distribute forces and prevent concentrated pressure points. But I do not like that a person cannot don this brace and nor adjust it without assistance to set it up correctly. You have to have another person assist you. The buckles are trash and not worth trying to use they do not hold the straps. Because I am a therapist and desperate for relief I did not return this brace, instead i used my therapist skills to modified it- this is where OTC should pay attention. I will not even charge for this consultation/ recommendationsI added slide buckles to each strap to lock down each side after threading it through the useless back buckles after I found that the teeth on the back buckle just end up pulling through the other side when any force is applied and are useless. Another option I am considering is called "velcro" to hold straps in place. I am flexible enough to get the brace on once correct adjustment is set, but adding a simple strap to the the lower part of the back plate that I can grab with a hand behind me would make this possible to remove this brace by myself.Given that a person using this brace would lack complete active range of motion of their arms, does it not make sense to make the lock down for the straps across the pads in the front and able to slide through the pads and could then be easily donned/ doffed and adjusted by one person without assistance. There are a lot of things out in the marketplace that seem like a good idea, but apparently no one actually appears to have thought of how the end user is going to be able to apply/ remove the device or lock in adjustments. Here is a thought TEST IT ON A REAL PERSON FIRST BEFORE BRINGING IT TO MARKET, bring in an Occupational Therapist as a consult- we perform detailed activity analysis of all of the things that humans do to "occupy" their time. We are experts in many areas physical, cognitive, visual perceptual, to name a few and could decrease design error costs and increase functionality of devices.

Loved this, it was a life savor
I broke my collar bone on my motorcycle and the hospital gave me a sling. A friend told me about this and I wore it 24/7 for about 2 months and my collar bone grew back nice and straight. If I would have wore the sling my shoulder would have been crooked and jacked up. This literately saved me. It also gave me pretty good posture since it pulls your shoulders back in the correct position. Highly recommended!!!

not what I expected
The first problem I had was that this product did not ship for over two weeks after ordering. I emailed the company after the first week asking if there was a problem and why the delay. I did not get an answer but the product shipped a few days later.Once I got the brace - something I would be putting on and taking off by my self - was not what I thought it was. I thought the straps were held my velcro - they are not, they hang down. Also, the metal teeth that hold the straps in place don't lock easily if at all. I would need help taking it off and putting it on.I will keep it - lengthen the straps and add velco.

not worth it
Caused more problems. Not worth the money. Difficult to put on by yourself which was the entire point of ordering it.
