I forgot how great these were but they need a comeback
I have an older decorative wooden door and it doesn't have the place for a deadbolt. So I was looking at having one mounted behind it that I can slide into the ground. While looking I remembered this product. It's easy to install and way more secure than a one sided bolt. And the fact that you just store it on itself when you're at home is fantastic all the while when you're gone you have peace of mind.These seriously need a comeback for today's markets.

Works well, but installation was tricky.
Works well, but installation was tricky. You have to drill a 3/4" hole at least 2" deep, at about 1.4" I hit some metal (looked like thick staples) which was tricky to get through and then at about 1.8" I hit concrete, which was a major paid to get through. Once the drilling was done the rest was easy. It seems sturdy and I think this is the best and easiest line of defense after a deadbolt.

Works great and so easy to install. Just hand it to your son or husband and say "Here. Put this in the floor" Before I knew it the club was installed and I wasn't even tired!

Solid product.
This is a very sturdy product and works as advertised. Once installed, very easy to use. Installation was a bit of a challenge. I think if a template was supplied for positioning would have been helpful. With that said I still readily endorse this product.

Highly recommended.
I would order these again if need be. It took too long to get to me, but it was worth the wait. My front door has two of these installed. If someone is going to try to bust the door down, they will have a hard time doing so. Even if they succeed, it will take them many attempts, which will be plenty of time to grab my trusted weapon of choice. Highly recommended.

Must Have Security!
These door clubs are indispensable for home security. These are the best anti-kick devices you can have if they are installed properly. Combine with reinforced frames and hinges and you have the best door security for the money there is.

Great product! Had to rent correct drill and bit, but worked fine and was not difficult to install.
