Great hammer !!DeWaltYellow n BlackGood GripGood feel leverage n striking pointPretty good for pluckin out nails but not great, tho there’s a nice side pluck feature which I gotta admit I haven’t really figured out how to use(maybe it’s not really for that....it’s like a notch on the side of the hammerhead ...if anyone knows what it’s for...do tell!🤷🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️🤣).The steel is good quality and nice lookin ,kinda feels a bummer to ruin it with that first hammerin, but it also holds up pretty good....doesn’t dent to bad .All in all excellent framing hammer...like I said :DeWalt , 💛+🖤, excellent price...cant go wrong😎👍🏿Thanks DeWalt !!Keep dows kawotts koming babay!!!👌🏿👍🏿😘🤣🤣🤣🤣🥕🌼🐝🍯💎🙏🏼🐚✨❄️🌕🌹❤️

Dewalt or die.
All my tools are black and yellow for a reason! Dewalt makes great stuff! This hammer is no exception. Perfectly balanced and comfortable to hold. Good for all day use. I have the rip claw in 20oz as well.

Solid all-purpose hammer
Good hammer. Well made. I have been using an Estwing California framing hammer (25 oz) to build a shed and it works great, but I can only swing it for so long, and it's tougher to use in tigher spaces. This works as a good all-around hammer, and has multiple options for pulling nails. It is coated in a clear polymer that will chip off the hammer face when you use it, but that should be expected (they don't want them to rust sitting of a warehouse shelf waiting to be purchased).

Great all purpose hammer
Wanted to buy a really nice hammer. I actually looked at Milwaukee (which also looks and feels nice, but cost more than the Dewalt) and looked at Stiletto (which is OMG beautiful). Milwaukee is more expensive and didn't feel as good in the hand. Stiletto is not a great cost/value proposition if you are a professional (very expensive, and didn't feel that much better). Erwin was ranked highest in some of the reviews I looked at for us normal DIY'ers, so I bought both the Erwin and the Dewalt. I've done a few projects now around the house. The Dewalt was a few bucks more (not significantly more than Erwin). It has a significantly better feel when you are driving a nail. I will be buying another Dewalt. Not sure I will use the Erwin all that much. Not that it is a bad hammer. It's just not even close to the dewalt.
