A unique seasoning and rub
Shazam! This is good stuff. This rub combines the flavor of pecan with a nice sweet undertone for balance. I have a couple different go to rubs, but if I want that sweet pecan flavor this is the one I reach for. I also blend it sometimes into other rubs that are more spice oriented to add interest with it's unique flavors. I found this years ago at a local butcher shop, but now often just pick it up through Amazon for the sake of convenient shopping from my recliner. I would highly recommend this for it's uniqueness and if you are craving something flavorful with a sweet edge to it. Works as a table seasoning as well for many items. I nice change up from many of the other fine rubs on the market.

First time I tried a Pecan Rub and I lily liked it!
This is a really great pecan rub which you can’t buy in the Northeast. I wish they had a distributor in the Norheast. Have used it alone or in combo with Memphis or Texas type dry rubs. Ribs, Chicken, Brisket and Pork are all elevated with this Texas Pecan Rob. My family often requests it. I will be sharing this secret rub with friends and family as a small gift when I visit them or they visit me. I am going to try some of their other rubs when I place my next order!

SWEET JUICY RUB!
My husband told me about this seasoning I've looked high and low for it and I was truly surprised that it was on amazon!!! Hubby used it to season some chicken he smoked. OMG!!!! The seasoning was a HIT!!! It wasn't too sweet but it had a butter pecan taste to it. The seasoning arrived with air packaging the expiration date wasn't for another year.

I used this on my ribs
This rub is a very uniquely type of pecan flavor that is enhanced by using pecan pellets when smoking meat. I've used this on ribs, chuck roast, and tritip and smoked them with a pecan blend pellets in my smoker and they all turned out very tasty. It has a light sweet taste to it but not too salty like some other rubs. I plan on using this on other types of meat in the future and will definitely buy this again.

Great Seasoning for Grilling
Initially bought this product at a BBQ school I attended. It is a big bottle and lasts a long time. This is a replacement for the first bottle I purchased and used up.

Best Dry Rub There is
I've been using John Henry's Rubs for years now and the Pecan is my favorite but you won't go wrong with any of their dry rubs. I love to smoke meat and I always make sure that I've rubbed John Henry's on the meat the day before it goes on the smoker.

Great on salmon
A friend made us the most delicious salmon...the secret, this rub and a cedar plank on the grill. We made it for family who have asked us for the secret ingredient!

Great steak seasoning
When we picked out our new Weber Grill at a local bbq store, I asked the salesman what his best steak rub was. He answered quickly that it was "John Henry's Pecan Rub". I bought a container of it and it set on the shelf for several months. Having been a long time bbq smoker and griller, I have several favorite steak seasoning, but I am always looking for new tastes. My Weber grill has a "seer" feature that allows for 700 degree heat. The first time I tried the "John Henry's Pecan Rub", it was on a porterhouse steak. I brushed a little olive oil on it and covered the steak liberaly with the rub. The grill was at 675 degrees and I "seered" both sides for about 3 minutes. Took it off and let it set for 5 minutes. It had a mild chared look on the outside and was a perfect midium rare on the inside. After my wife tried it she said "this is the best steak I have ever eaten". Each time I use it I get the same remarks. It is a great seasoning and I have ordered more. I recommend it.
