This thing was great when it worked. I took it out on my kayak several times and the sound was amazing. The first time it got wet though it shuts off at random and won't keep connected to my phone anymore. Also it seems like the battery is no longer holding a charge after having it for a month. It is a great speaker if you want to attach it to a bicycle or keep it on the deck for when company comes over but not so great in a place where it will spend some time getting wet. UPDATE: I have made several attempts at contacting customer service about this item and every time I am told that I need to register so they can continue. I have now registered this item 6 times and I am still told the same thing. I feel like they are just trying to push me into giving up or out of the 1 year warranty.

Pretty awesome speaker and the battery life is amazing lasts like forever it seems ...between 14-18hrs I was pretty surprised as I get 3-4 outings on the water fishing with it before I have to charge it and I've gotten it wet many times with no issues , haven't submerged it yet but the water running off the paddle on my kayak gets all over it with no problems .I love this thing as its so versatile with all the mounts you can get that work on it with the 1/4-20 adapter .I use it with my go pro mounts on my mountain bike and the yak attack mount for the kayak .... I take it with me everywhere.I got it for $60 on Amazon and I'm very happy with it and the quality of sound and bass it produces will shock you for a small speaker .It pairs so easy with my iPhone also .

The idea is great, however I used the speaker for about an hour and the speak began making popping sounds which has only gotten worse. I contacted the manufacturer and I had to go through a bunch of hoops and pay for shipping on their shotty product

This is an excellent Bluetooth speaker. I use it every time out on my Kayak. Sound is very good for a small speaker.

Finally I tried speaker in my kayak (before I tried it only once when I received it). But I was very disappointed. For some reason power on/off button was not working and I coudt'n turn it on. When I press all the other buttons they "click", but when you try to press power button, nothing happens. Dont waste your money ant time.

Good sound from a small speaker. Can't wait to take it out on the kayak.

This little speaker is awesome...

Speaker could not handle bass until I dunked it in water. After being submerged in water, this little speaker is awesome for the price. Dunk it before using!
