Worth buying
It blends in very well, there is a tiny bit of white cast initially, however it fades away after sometime (which is unusual for physical sunscreens). This leaves the skin moistured, very effective for dry and sensitive skin. As this can be applied to both face and body, it is very convenient and cost effective.

I’m so glad I met this product! 😍
I have a very sensitive skin and I can’t use just any product on my face which is very frustrating, and I wanted to look for a product that I can use as a moisturizer and sunscreen at the same time. I have a combination type of skin which leans more to either the dry or oily side depending on the season, and this time it’s dry. A friend recommended this and I saw great reviews. From my experience, just a small amount can already cover the whole face and neck, it’s not sticky and doesn’t feel heavy. And I never had breakouts! It is a bit expensive, but hey you gotta invest on your skin!I really recommend this for those who have dry skin looking for moisturizer/sunscreen, it’s the best ever. If you have oily skin though, you can opt for the same product with matte finish. It’s really good, too!

Good product, bad shopping experience
The description of the product itself is great. However, I am very disappointed in the handling. First, the product inf misses that it is for body only instead of face. Second, although I bought it on Australia Amazon, the return label requests to send it back to US address, and at my own costs, which is a significant portion of the goods value.

Black girl friendly
Just received this today. I'm a chocolate-toned African American woman. This works! Put some on my hand and arm, checked it out in the natural light. Blended in sheer with a moisturized natural look. Not heavy or greasy. Looked at both of my arms side by side. Natural-looking. Gives your skin a smoothed over effect. It can be hard for someone with my skin tone to find a physical sunscreen that doesn't leave a cast or isn't hard to spread. This is easy to spread, smooth in. It looks so good for not being a more tinted moisturizer. It's kind of an off white, light oat color when it squeezes out. So far, I would recommend.

best physical sunscreen for dry skin, very water resistant
I am so happy that I have finally found a physical sunscreen that does not irritate me, does not dry me out nor oily. I have dry sensitive skin, even though some chemical filters work fine on my skin, I always want to use pure physical sunscreens because many chemical filters have safety issues (like forming radicals and disturbing hormones). This one does not dry my skin, but nor is it oily. As you can see in the pic, after rubbing in, it actually gives my skin a subtle glow, but definitely not shinny. It does not dry down completely, which does not bother me, instead makes me feel my skin is well moisturized. It probably won't do well under makeup because it does not dry down. It may just make your foundation move around on your face... It smells like olive oil but the smell dissipates very quickly. It does give a white cast, but it disappears after about 30 min. The finish is not matt, but slightly dewy. It has ceramides in it which is also good for barrier repairing. Overall, it has everything a dry skin would appreciate. Oily/combo skin will like the red tube version, which dries down completely and has a matt finish, and has less white cast. Unfortunately it was too drying for me, and I am happy to find this version that is nourishing. The last pic is after I washed my hands with hand soap and rinsed with warm water. You can see it is still on there repelling water. I then used some micellar water to completely take it off. Will definitely repurchase.

TL;DR - Works for face with no white tint, but a bit greasy
I needed a moisturizing sunscreen for daily facial use that my husband and I can both use. I decided to give this product a try even though it's supposed to be for the body. I also use the Mineral Creme SPF 50 (pink tube) from MDSolarSciences, which dries a little more matte. Both are kinda spendy, but because it's a 4oz tube the price per ounce ends up being comparable to other facial products. (This review is good for either product, and is cross-posted.)This sunscreen looks and feels fairly thick, with an off-white/cream tint. The ceramides and silicones give it a lot of slip on the skin, and it stays slightly sticky to the touch - it never really seems to dry. However, it blends quite well for fair to medium skin tones, and works under a powder foundation. It isn't moisturizing enough to use on its own (I have combination/oily skin, and my husband's is normal/dry), but it is more moisturizing than the Mineral Creme version. I tend to use the Moisture Defense in winter when it's less humid, and the Mineral Creme in the summer when it's more humid. You should use an antioxidant-rich, oil-free, silicone-free moisturizer as a base layer, and here's why: 1) Antioxidants will boost the SPF power of your sunscreen, 2) Oil is the enemy of mineral sunscreens, 3) This sunscreen has a lot of silicones already and it doesn't set well over a first layer of silicones IME. (I've been using Trader Joe's Antioxidant Moisturizer plus Alpha Skin Care Nourishing Eye Cream, and it works pretty well). This brand takes a good five minutes to dry/set completely, but then I can apply makeup over the top. I use a powder foundation, which helps the sunscreen set. I also don't apply the sunscreen to my eyelash line, which helps eye makeup stay in place. Definitely don't get the sunscreen on your eyelashes if you plan to apply mascara, and use a powder foundation before a brow pencil.Zinc sunscreen can be drying, so you really do need to clean it off at the end of the day and only oil-cleansing works on mineral sunscreen. I like to use a warm microfiber washcloth to rinse, or sometimes a face wash (aka double-cleansing). Definitely apply a moisturizer or lotion afterward.Overall it's more work than using a chemical sunscreen but I think it's worth it. This product is one of the better ones I've tried for facial use - it has a higher percentage of zinc, doesn't dry out my skin too much, and comes at a pretty good price per ounce.

Very nice, spreads externally well
I like this sunscreen enough that I plan to use this to replace the elta MD sunscreen my demotalogist recommended to me, which was drying. I was looking online for a non-drying sunscreen. Some demotalagists said they use this one.It spreads super smooth and widly on my face, very even and goes on super well, and it doesn't roll into little balls nor feel very drying like Elta MD sometimes does. I heard in order for spf to not feel very drying like I often felted it, it need to be made with oil or fat. This one uses a number of different ceramide which I heard is a type of fat, and indeed it feels very smooth and non-drying on my face. This one is a bit creamy colored, not a pure white color. When you put it on, you sometime sees a little bit of white cast, but it disappears quickly. I heard that zinc oxide gives you the broader range spf protection, and titanium dioxide also protects the spf and is not as white casting. So this sunscreen is using both.
