Spilled Milk: Based on a true story

I loved this book so much. I read it in a matter of hours and I cried while reading her story. Her style is so relatable and her strengths emanates from every page. The things she endured as a child, no one should have to endure, but she stood for what was right despite a lack of immediate family support - something that’s hard to do. A truly great and illuminating read. I’m so glad she found her voice.
