Does this have a web GUI or do I have to use the TP-Link software for configuration?

Is the Easy Smart web Gui Mac Os compatible? How do you access the configuration setup for a MAC?

The Easy Smart Configuration Utility software is for Windows operating systems only. For other operating system outside of Windows, we recommend utilizing the web management interface of the switch via a web browser.

Does this unit have noticeable electricity wine? I am sensitive to high frequency sounds. The switch will be in arm's distance.

I have the unit within arm's distance as well with no sound whatsoever, but I can't recommend it as it has been a touchy with reconnection after power outages. Doing some research, I found I wasn't the only person that had this issue.
