Poor color accuracy and buggy control if using SmartThings hub, but they worked well with Hue hub
I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars after I got these controllers working well with the Hue hub. I don't recommend using it with SmartThings. GLEDOPTO should fix their SmartThings driver. It was very frustrating to use. Below was my original problem using it with SmartThings.Got it setup into SmartThings using the latest smart hub. However, I noticed immediately the colors were off, and yes I had it wired correctly. In the image you can see how much Red (Their 5 in 1 mini controller) and Blue (this controller) there was when I unplugged the Green LED. Perhaps, I didn't have it exactly on green...I set to a hue value of 33, so I tried setting it to 32 and 34 but the app would just pick the closest odd value instead. Half of the time it would set the value and would hang up for bit. Using it with the SmartThings app was very unresponsive and frustrating. It wasn't a connection issue as it would turn on/off just fine.Since I'm controlling a string of five separate 5m LED strips using amplifiers with one controller, I bit the bullet and bought a Hue starter kit, which comes with a hub, controller and 6ft LED strip. I cut off their lights and soldered my cheaper LED strips to the controller. The Hue controller has worked seamlessly; very responsive and the colors look great. I can actually get just the Green LED to turn on to give a pure green color. I don't know if I could recommend Hue if you wanted independent control of lots of LED strips as that would get expensive fast. Unfortunately Hue doesn't sell their controllers separately, but some 3rd parties might. That was the whole point of getting an GLEDOPTO LED controller, but in the end the poor experience wasn't worth it to me.

Fixed my phillips strips that had the LED "driver" fail
Setup was easy enough.Issue with one LED not lighting when using the Phillips Hue app.Color change was still OK, but seemed the device was not exactly compatible with V3 of the strips.I reset back to factory so that it lights all 3 LEDs to be brighter.Happy since Phillips no longer supports my device, glad to keep my 7 connected strips functional since they were a big investment for lighting. I don't ever change the color anyway, so no big deal if not connected to the hub.

Macht was er soll
Ich benutze den Controller mit IOBroker und Zigbee-Adapter (Stand 01.2023). Funktioniert einwandfrei.

Takes some fiddling but works
Connections are a little loose. There's no way to really tighten this down. The mode selector works OK but I had to reset it a few times during set up to get it all working. Once it was all set up it has been working great.

Big color, little package! Close to Philips hue
So, this is my second attempt with this kit. First set of strips started to get a bit crazy after using them for about 30 minutes. Colors would be different on half the strip. This is a sign of a cold solder joint or a bad connection in the strips. I suggest if this happens, contact them right away! Also, PRO TIP! Most of you don’t know this one, but the last thing you want to do is keep them rolled up, and apply power to them over a period of time! Why? This can and will cause heat to build up! And can cause your strip to malfunction! (Seen this happen to people a bit) if you’re want to test them, apply power for no more then 60 seconds while rolled up!So, as you see I did cut these to make two different levels of light for my TV stand. I used some of the products they offer, like the 6 pin connection jumper wire (with shown 6 pin connection) sadly I learned the company scams you and does not include this part! (Read reviews) So, I had to take some electronics engineering I have to make a 6 pin connection. Was not bad! If your good with soldering small items. They have been installed for a few weeks now! No falling yet!Color matching to Philips hue? It’s close, but not exact! I will say it’s prob the closest strip I’ve had my hands on now! As it mimics the early edition of Philips hue strips with LED placement and even the large scale pin association! Just the color is off a shade.Controller.. well, I like this controller! Small, simple to use! Powered off USB! (Make sure your power supply has at least 2 amp!) it was found right away by Philips Hue system! Alexa controls it well too!I would say this is a good alternative to Philips hue at a big cost reduction! The bad.. Well you’ve got 2 meters to use! This controller won’t do anymore then that! It’s limited by its current abilities! I would suggest the company at least make this controller able to handle twice the amount of LED’s it does! So up to 4m rathe then 2m!Why? Simple, the size of this controller is awesome! Once you get to the controller from this company that can control over 2m the size of the unit increases a ton! This sucks for hidden install!Better yet, they should use a better V chip to handle the current and allow the overhead of additional strips! As well, the company does not offer directly and easily the additional LED strips! They are hard to find! No indication if they are the same! This company should detail the fact of the strips availability!Other wise, would I buy this again?Yes, I think I would! But sadly a 6 ft run is not much for LED strips. And the next controller up is almost impossible to hide.
