Newmark Learning Grade 6 Common Core Comprehension Aid

The questions in this book are clearly from a pre-common core printing, as they are all lower level recall questions. However, the articles are good for reading and close reads, especially the information texts. But I won't be using these questions, even though they are "text dependent", they are not rigorous at all.

I have students reading at a 2nd grade level and at a 6th grade level and it is awesome that they read the same type of article and have the same questions, but the articles are leveled, takes a lot of work off my shoulder of differentiating articles.

There are not alot of materials out yet for CC 6th -8th grade prep. This book is very helpful. I like the 3 different levels for each story.

My daughter teaches and has had great success with her kids this year.
