Life Extension Reishi Extract Mushroom Complex, 60 Vegetarian Capsules

I became aware of Reishi for its antiviral properties. I have EBV and HHV-6. When I take this Reishi I instantly just feel better. I can have terrible body aches and fatigue, I take 2 of these and my aches are gone and I just plain feel better. I also like the liver support properties. I have a sluggish liver and usually when I take these I feel my liver coming back to life and the bile is flowing. It also feels like an adaptogen. I just feel more relaxed, less stressed and in a better mood. Also if taken before bed, I sleep better. I’ve tried different fancy expensive brands of Reishi but I find this works the best. Also, it doesn’t seem to “stimulate” my immune system. Other things like Astragalus stimulates my immune system and make me feel like garbage. I usually feel better the next day, but it’s not worth feeling sick and achey the day before. I wouldn’t call it an energizing supplement, but if I feel like garbage, I’m more productive after taking it. It’s a keeper!

This product was recommended to me by a friend who said it really helps to calm the excess adrenaline brought on by ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, conditions we share. I take one at bedtime, and one with breakfast and it has a very nice, mild calming effect. I have been taking this Reishi Extract for a couple months now and I can tell a big difference in my immune system. I have a compromised immune system due to a chronic condition and have always just treated the symptoms when I get sick - which is often. I have started taking this in combination with Chaga and Maitake. I can tell that I am not as tired and run down from catching every cold and virus that is passed around. My head is clearer than when taking prescription medications.
