Yorkshire terrier had it chewed up in pieces in no time. Although to be fair I haven't found anything as yet she hasn't destroyed.

This is the only toy my mini dachshund has not chewed to pieces. He has had it quite a while now and it doesn't even have teeth marks. He is such an avid chewer that I was at my wits end buying toy after toy. I would highly recommend this product.

Although this is the best product I have found yet, there are already signs of wear and tear after about a month with our 6 month old puppy. And it only comes with one replacement.

I was honestly looking for a tough, durable chew toy for my little Yorkie who is an aggressive chewer despite her misleading size. Seeing as hard bones or nylabone type chew toys are not recommended by vets, who suggest a hard rubber type of toy instead, I opted for West Paw. In my research I read wonderful reviews about the durability of their toys.I gave the toys to my Yorkie and in a matter of 2 days she had created a hole in one, which soon turned into an entire chunk being ripped off the toy. Fortunately I never leave her unsupervised with a toy like this and I was able to pull the chunk out of her mouth before she swallowed it! I cannot even imagine the vet bill had it become lodged inside her.As wonderful as the toy was during the first two days... I had to take it away as a choking hazard once she had discovered its weak spot. I am so sad and disappointed since she was absolutely delighted with it!! I really thought I had finally found the perfect toy brand for her. I do realize that wear and tear happens and toys are no exception however... at this price and after 2 days of play, I would expect a longer honeymoon period!
