Q: What make is it? I bought already 2 bottles and how different they are! The first one purchased about 2 years ago still keeps a wonderful smell

Perhaps one of the ones you purchased is an eau de toilette and not an eau de parfum, the toilette's have a lighter more diffused fragrance and do not last as long, many people prefer this to the heavier scent, but I like the stronger one myself. They are both by Elie Saab. I hope this helps.
