Cuisinart Filter Holder

I love the Cuisinart EM-100FH Filter Holder, except the little sliding plastic dealy that holds the basket in while emptying the puck breaks VERY easily. Otherwise this one makes EXCELLENT espresso with lots of crema.

If you want this to last, DO NOT tamp the coffee while the filter is inside of this holder, tamp it outside and then put the filter on the holder. This is my second one and I just realized why, if you dont do that, the black plastic inside of this holder will lose its shape and allow for coffee to get inside of it making a mess.

Bought this to replace my original one which had a broken filter holder and I'm satisfied with it. This replacement fits on my machine exactly as my original one.It does feel a little lighter than my original and the inside design is slightly (see picture) but works like my old one.I didn't notice any difference in the taste of my coffee and would recommend it

I am happy to find a replacement part, but the little slidy thing keeps braking. Design flaw.

I accidentally, put the filter holder that came with my machine in the dishwasher so all of the chrome came off. I ordered this replacement and it is exactly the same as the original. No complaints
