I've used a pair for sneakers and it really worked, but you should be patient about it.

I had bought a size 8.5 (UK) hiking shoe after wearing it once my toes were in pain I was limping back to my car due to the pain, thought I can clean the shoes up and return them back to store which I did but the store didn't accept it and thanks to COVID-19 it's much harder now to return an item. Anyway after looking around online my next bet was on a shoe stretcher. This seller is selling only one piece of it rather than a pair and if you look around you'll fine it AED 60+ which turns out to be cheaper but quality is a question mark.Now do these things work or not? Well they do but do not expect these stretchers to extend your shoe and make one or two size bigger. They do make it easier to break in to your shoes and avoid those shoe bites/blisters which one would get initially. I tried on my hiking shoes and had kept it for 1-2 nights and kept tightning it in between whenever I was home...in the end the shoes have become much bearable and easy on the toes but I still do feel if I had bought size 9 it would have been better.They do make it easier to break in your brand new shoes but don't expect high and think it will extend 1 or 2 sizes.Quality seems good. Mix of plastic and steel the package includes only one piece and not a pair. Packaging could have been better.

I wrongfully assumed that the price includes a pair of stretchers. But this is a single piece of stretcher. Other than that, the item is made of good quality plastic and steel. No user manual included.
