If you need an extra frame buy a single pack from the pet store and see how much that will cost you. Frame is sturdy enough and will last you all 12 filters if you are not an ape

Good amount for the price paid and well packaged item. My turtle will definitely value this item as I have to change it up biweekly. The tetra whisper filter is good, but extremely noisy so I use it at low flow, which means the tank becomes messy within three days. I take the filter out to clean it and reuse until the next change. UPDATE- DELIVERED TO WRONG ADDRESS! EVEN THOUGH THE HOUSE IS LABELED ON 3 DIFFERENT WALLS. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

Anyone who has an aquarium and uses this brand of filter system, it’s very convenient. It’s also price competitive. And in the days of this Pandemic, delivered to your doorstep without venturing into stores during flu and cold season.

You get 12 filters and 1 frame and a packet of carbon for each filter. When you assemble a new filter, rinse it under cold water for a few seconds to rinse away any carbon dust before use. Good value!

Tetra is an excellent company for aquarium supplies. I have a 55 gallon tank and 3 of the messiest fish on the planet (For proof I have 2 filters on my tank). These Cartridges do a fabulous job. The cartridges help keep my tank clean, which keeps my OCD fish (yes, they are slobs, but love a very clean tank) happy which in turns keeps me happy. The Cartridges are very easy to assemble and a 12 pack will last 6 months, which way cheaper than my other filters and cartridges
