These are metal and have a seal to help hold them. Be aware they are metal and that they need to be put on tightly. Don't let anyone else take them off or put them on, or plan on getting a spare package. As an unintended benefit, I had a tire that kept losing air and these being sealed helped me to identify the leaky valve stem. Once I replaced the old plastic covers, I noticed that my tire was no longer losing air, so I got the valve stem replaced and no more issues with air loss.

They’re great but I’ve had them for about a year now and the black has faded to a goldish bronze color.

I purchased these to go with the red SS center caps, I was a little skeptical due to the price. These are absolutely unbelievable! I was ready to be disappointed and for what I paid for him I guess I would have to accept that, but I got to tell you these are absolutely perfect. If you look at my other review on the center cap but I will enclose a picture here, this is a great combination it really adds a lot of style and class to this rim. The green nitrogen stem cap on this vehicle just looked like crap, so we had to make it look classy! Excellent excellent product I can't tell you how happy I am with this..
