Anchor 2803 Engine Mount

it took a little more work to replace the insert instead of the entire mount that the part stores sell but it was worth it to me. Had to burn out old rivets and replace them with two 3/8 nc bolts and washers. That was the only difference between using the insert and using the complete mount. saved about $75.

This mount was pretty easy to install overall. Fortunately, the engine on my 2001 Cavalier has a support bracket at the bottom that I could use to raise and support the engine with a floor jack instead of needing to lift it with an engine crane and hooks. I had to drill out the rivets that were holding in the original mount, but the flared bolts included with this package were a perfect fit for the holes that were left.The engine now euns more smoothly with less chassis vibration and rattle. I also recommend replacing the lower isolator mount (if your engine has one) at the same time.

I had to re-tap the threads on the top of the new mount to fit the screws from the top of the mount bracket. It worked out for me but would be a problem for anyone without a tap and die set. Other than that, everything worked OK with this mount.

Worked well was 1/4 taller than old original but it corrected a lot of other problems related to it mainly exhaust loosening up

Prefect fit. Can be hard to get old one out if it's the orginal but after that it goes in just tight with boot bumper but that tells ya its good. Fit perfect on 1997 chevy cavalier

Wish the whole bracket and mount came preassembled, just cause it wasn’t too easy to swap it out and put new one in. But it was a direct fit and did what I needed.
