Very bright
Pulled the dash gages out of my mother’s car because she didn’t think the factory analogue lights were bright enough. Added these on a fused circuit that goes on with ignition. Worked great!

Top notch quality!!
Best LEDS on Amazon. Polarity is labeled, and the components are better quality as well. I think these are the best quality ones available on Amazon.

Wow they are bright!
If you are the person who is unsure of what you want to do with your cluster I hope this helps. When you turn your high beams on and the little blue light comes on the cluster and you find that it bothers you because it’s too bright then you may not want to go with an led conversion. I am speaking for the range of vehicles who have a similar cluster to a 04 Suburban. Yes they dim, but not much. I installed only 2 LEDs for my conversion just to see if I would like them. It looks nice and clean but I like my dash lights dim at night but not off. With the LEDs on the lowest dimmable setting they are still too bright for me. Plus all the other billion incandescent bulbs in the vehicle like window switches radio dials are too dim to see now. Now a full conversion of your whole vehicle might just look alright! Just these 2 led bulbs create a glare on the windows and I just don’t like that I can’t dim them much more. These LEDs do as they are advertised and I cannot complain one bit about their performance. They look awesome for sure and very clean. Everyone I have shown love the look but yet they aren’t the ones looking through the sun to see oncoming traffic lol. They just don’t work for me. I have dreamed of doing this and now that I’ve tried it I’m going to just stick with incandescent :( Give it a try if you must and you know everyone has their own opinions :) In the photo I do not have the plastic covering over the gauges so that is why there is a large semicircle which emits a lot of the light.

Easy to solder into dash instrument board 2005 Chevy Duramax
Replaced all incandescent lights on Duramax instrument dashboard. Once you figure out where the ‘+’ is on the light replacing them allis easy with a small soldering iron, wickit and good rosin core solder. Looks amazing when all done. Like a new vehicle and they WON’T burn out. Also hard to find item so look no further.

Would Recommend & Helpful Tips
Happy with the results with my 2006 Chevy Failblazer. Here are some tips I learned during the replacement process. I took a multimeter and marked all the positive & negative points. Red & black sharpies worked great. Do all the lights, as some were reversed to what I thought. Next I used needle nose pliers to bend a consistent bend / height. Next, cut the extra off and tin the ends. See photo included. Removal of old lights was easy, only 2 solder points. Test the board (only) before you reassemble the display and re-install. The directionals and dimming function worked fine. Results, a lot brighter than the OEM lights. It has somewhat of a blue hue to it, which I like better. Time will tell with how long these hold up. I have plenty of spares, but would rather not have to repeat this project. Hope this helps with your project. Also, watch YouTube. 😉

Too bright for a dash
Wow- these were too bright for my Climate Control unit so I had to put blue paint on them using a Sharpie Paint stick. That worked well when I painted all three segments on each LED. These are somewhat fragile so be mindful if you need to bend the leads, you need to clamp the lead in front of the LED chip to prevent any stress from breaking the LED. Pricing was good.

Huge Improvement
After installing these in a few of our company Silverados that had lights go out I had to do them in my 2004 Avalanche, I like them so much I ordered more and did the HVAC controller to.Tip: For the GM clusters with the white plastic piece that the original bulb sits in, simply pull the old bulb out and look inside the plastic piece there’s two dimples drill those with a tiny drill bit, then insert the LEDs through the two holes and fold the legs to the side then set them on the board and you have a leg to solder. So much easier then trying to solder them free standing.

Watch the polarity
A fine bright light. Make sure you get the polarity correct or it won't light. Positive wire to longer lead on LED.
