Too much sticky residue left behind
I opened these to use and was immediately not impressed. On the contrary, I'm disappointed. I have always used drafting dots for the corners of my drawings, however, they leave a lot of sticky residue behind. I actually really like Mr Pen products, but this is one I product that I need to leave behind...I knew as soon as I pulled the first dot, that the back was too sticky. Decided to proceed, so I could give an honest use review. After I finished up my drawing and peeled the dots away from the corners, I noticed a splotch of adhesive on each corner of both my drawing and the surface I taped it to. Not thrilled. Had to use rubbing alcohol to get the sticky residue off the surface of my light box.... Fortunately it was deliberate and solely for review, so I did not ruin a good drawing by using them.

Sticks too good I have a VYCO pad on my drawing board. These
Sticks too good.I have a VYCO pad on my drawing board. These drafting dots do not come off cleanly. They leave a sticky residue that is hard to remove, even with alcohol. They also take off the top layer of the drawing paper. I thought I may have left them on for too long, so I decided to do a test after only having them in my drawing board for only 1 hour. They still left a sticky residue that even after cleaning with alcohol still feels tacky. I’ll be cleaning my pad for a while until this finally is removed. If Mr Pen wants to make this right for me. They can replace my VYCO pad with a mew one.

Great value
These work super well. The only thing is that they are not super thin and don’t sit flush on a surface. That is sometimes an issue when my T-square runs across it and then it will scrape it up, but in general for the price these are really good!

Why oh Why?
Why oh why didn't I notice that each and every dot has a mustache on it? I don't know about you, but I don't feel that makes for a professional look. Unfortunately, I had already taken off the plastic film before I realized the problem. There are unmarked dots out there, which I will use instead.

Perfect for my use - Pool Table ball markers
I use these Drafting Dots, or 'Art Dots', to spot billiard balls on a pool table while practicing. I needed something which would stay put and flat on the clothe while at the same time be easily removed, leaving no residue transferred to the clothe. These are fine for that; to remove them all I do is gently slide the edge of a regular sheet of paper under a side of the dot and lift - this leaves a nice little crease that I can pull the dot off with using my fingers. Then, a few swipes with the pool table brush, and you never know the dot was on there.
