First I read all the bad reviews just to see what problems there was
First I read all the bad reviews just to see what problems there was. Took a gamble anyway after reading all the bad reviews. As it turned out, the camera came with a manual in English, USA power supply (120-volt charger w/USB cable). It came with one Nikon Lithium Ion Battery EN-EL 19. Selling at Amazon for $67+ after shipping came out to $72+. There was a lot of complaint about the camera not focusing. So that’s the first thing I did after inserting the battery. So far this camera is operating normal and pictures are focused. Worried the camera would have a defect, none at the moment. They offered a two years warranty for $8.47 extra; I declined. Don’t know if it’s luck or good karma, but this camera appears to be in perfect operating condition. The camera didn’t come with a memory card, but just to let you know, that’s standard policy when buying any digital camera, they’re not suppose to come with memory cards. Even when you buy a $500+ digital camera; I bought a Nikon Coolpix P7000 no memory card. My brother bought a $4000+ Canon EOS mark III no memory card either. What's astonishing was to read all the bad reviews and yet I received mine in perfect condition. I’ll try to post some photos so everybody can see what my photographs look like.

Cute and Good
Really good pocket-sized camera that's easy to take place. Picture quality is good too.

Just OK - decent for the price but not great
For the price, it's "just OK". I bought this to replace a dead Casio pocket camera. There are just those times when you want something better than a cell phone but not as fancy (&cumbersome) as my big Nikon DSLR. But this Coolpix is not all that great of a camera. As long as the subject is static & fixed and the light is great, it's fine. But if the light is low or the subject is moving, unless you throttle the ISO way higher it's just slow and slugging and rarely captures an image cleanly. And regardless of situation, the focus/shutter is just too slow. But for the price, it's "just OK" and does a fine job as long as you don't ask much of it.

Great traveling camera
This is a great little camera. Like others, I was worried that it wouldn't meet my expectations for focus or it would come without a charger. Everything was included and even an international adapter. The focus is a little tricky. You have to compress the button and let the camera focus to get a good picture, so it takes a little bit to snap a photo. The camera has various settings and is a perfect little traveling camera, and very discreet. One thing about the adapter. If you attach it, it is very difficult to detach. It feels like you have to break it to get it separated. Other than that minor thing, this is a great camera, I love it, and I would recommend it to people looking for a good, cheap camera that has great MP's.

Vibrant and Sharp Shots
I understand why reviewers get frustrated with this camera. I purchased it because I'm dissatisfied with the color on pictures taken with my Canon Elph. I was looking for a point and shoot with more vibrant color in the shot, and this camera reviewed well for that. I just returned from a weekend trip testing it, and it does deliver on vibrant color. I am very pleased with that. The quality and sharpness are also very good. I only tested it at the 20 megapixel setting, but I'm very happy with the keeper shots. The frustrating thing is the delayed shutter time. You can never be sure if the picture you want is the picture you get. I think this is due to the fact it's recording data at 20 megapixels, and that may delay the result. There is an "action" setting which I've not tried yet, so maybe that will resolve it somewhat. Also, I do not have steady hands. I can't blame the camera that the pictures are blurry. I make sure to hold the camera in place until I see the picture on the review screen, I think that may help. If the picture is really important to me, I will take 4 or 5 of the same thing to be sure I get a keeper shot. This works well for me, though it can make for quite the clean-up once I get home. Still, it's worth it to me.My best advice is to be patient, realize you may not get every shot (you never did before digital anyway), and explore all the settings. The fill in flash is great! The camera is worth the price in my opinion.

easy to start
Cute camera, easy to start, ok pictures this is not a professional photographers camera. This is the camera when your on a budget, you don't want nothing bulky and you're in a hurry but want good quality pictures. It came with charger, plug adapter, CD, lithium battery and a hand cord. Also came with papers explaining ehrtr to go to get service. One issue was it didn't come with instructions. But you can google it and save info on your google drive account. Its what i did.

Cheap, spend a little more and get something better.
This camera is terrible. I purchased it for a recent trip to Europe and ended up using my cellphone for the majority of the pictures because this camera was so bad.1. It is SOOOOO slow. This was the most egregious part and made it nearly impossible to take pictures. I wasn't trying to take action shots, just pictures of people before their faces cramped from smiling.2. Pictures in low light were real bad. My iPhone did much better. There are a lot of churches in Europe to visit. Every single picture from every single church is blurry.3. No additional settings to take pictures in low light, action, macro, etc. I don't normally use these, but they're nice to have when you really need them. Here you get one option, point and shoot. In conclusion, i will be returning. I wish i had saved the aggravation and just used my phone from the start.
