Great! Why didn't we buy this sooner?
Who knew that fixing the fuel door so that it pops open again would be so easy?! We went a year without looking into why the fuel door was stuck and with the aggravation that caused. Hubby finally had had enough, and found a video online that showed that it can be done by one person with an object - a rubber ducky- to prop the fuel door release handle up, or two people (one holding the fuel release handle while the other person opens the fuel door and installs this part.) The repair took two minutes!

Do not recommend.
I purchased this for my 2000 Toyota Camry. It fits the vehicle but the metal is very pliable and does not pop the gas door open. The pressure of the gas door being closed bends the metal so that it will not open. I do not recommend this product.

Worked Well
Bought this one to replace the one on my car fuel door that was no longer opening and so far it is working very well.

It works well and fits with minor fix
I had to grind off about 1/8 inch off each end near the hinge to get it to fit, but that was easy, and then it fit my 2009 Lexus R 350 pefectly.

Fixed the Problem
My son has an older Rav4 and his switch stopped working to open fuel door. Did some research and found the door spring had broken. After viewing a youtube video on how to fix it, there was a link for this part. The part was a great price and very easy to install (took 2 minutes) and the problem was resolved, Definately recommend this product.

It somewhat got the job done.
I purchased this spring as I have had an issue with the fuel door on my 2004 Camry as it opened at 25 mph speeds or at turns. Installation was VERY EASY and it took me less than a minute (no joke) to install. At first, it appeared as if all was well and I can put that problem behind me. Then I made a new discovery. The spring door fails every time I hit speed bumps! No matter how slow I drive, my fuel door opens every time I hit a speed bump! Although it does get annoying to have to close that fuel door every time I drive through speed bumps, at least the door stays closed in other occasions which is why I'll leave it at 3 stars.

Reasonable price and easy install
Literally just slots right into place. Used on my Toyota Camry 1999, we have just dealt with the fact that you have to jam something in the door while someone holds the open lever to get in open, but today I pulled this little clip off the car (the original part from Toyota) threw it away and replaced it with the new clip. The plastic notches lined up perfect, so I clicked it in, shut the door and like magic it works again, one gentle pull on the pull string and clink it opens. Really easy install really easy equipment
