Great thread conditioner for your sewing machine.
This is a great help with feeding thread into your machine. Use by drawing a line of the product on the thread spool then taking a drop on your finger to spread on the hole on the needle then the shaft. It helps with breakage and shredding especially when doing embroidery work. I also use it on the needle when working with adhesives to reduce build up. It may require often as when attaching adhesive backed Velcro. When using a sticky back stabilizer on embroidery work, this is all that is needed to zip through the project. It’s a great thread conditioner.

A huge sewing/quilting hack in a tiny bottle.
This tiny little bottle lasts a long time & it is one of those obscure little quilting tricks that no one tells you about, but is really amazing. I’ve been quilting for years & thread problems can mess up hours & hours of work. I have no idea why rubbing several drops into a spool or cone makes thread behave better. I didn’t really believe it when I heard about it, but I tried it. I wasn’t easily convinced, until I realized that some of my problems were with thread I had forgotten to condition, or needed more. This stuff helps older or low quality thread from fraying, linking or breaking as much. It helps fancy, delicate threads flow smoother through the needle. Things don’t get jammed up as often, even if I’m using different weights on the bottom & top. It doesn’t stain or remain oily & soaks in quickly. Like I said, I don’t know how or why it works, but I’m a believer now!

Works on gummed up sewing machine needles.
I do fabric collage and use Steam A Seam 2 Lite and even after setting them permanently with steam ironing, there is glue residue that often gumms up my sewing machine needle. Now I put a dab on my needle before I start sewing and now no more glue gathers on the needle.

Helps with metallic thread.
Heard about this in a you tube video and tried it.Having my metallic thread come off the spool horizontal instead of vertical and going through a padded slot that is soaked with this lubricant makes using even cheap metallic thread much easier to use. Also use it when using older thread that may fray, it helps to got through the machine without fraying.

It seems to be keeping my sewing machine to skip stitches when I'm sewing several layers of fabric
I have not used the bottle I recently purchased, because I still have a almost full bottle. I use it for machine sewing. I find it really almost confusing that the solution is recommended for hand and machine sewing, and to put it on the needle and thread, but the warning on the label recommends hand washing "if" it gets on the skin? I have done lots of hand sewing and the thread is held together with the needle by hands, unless someone sews with toes? One is not supposed to put it into eyes? So far I have avoided putting needle and thread into my eyes. Lucky me!
