Why did you pick this product vs others?: My 9yo loves this kit. The light board allows him to trace the layers so he can make subtle changes for his flip books. He was inspired by some youtubers and can now get lost in his own artwork. It came with plenty of papers and binding pieces to keep him going for a while. The only con is that I wish you could charge the light board. It has to be plugged in.

I recently bought a different light box for my son and then found he needed the little pads of paper with the screw together things. I got on Amazon to buy the pads and found that I could get three pads with a whole bunch of screws to make different sizes AND it included a very portable light box. We already have a light box but I figured why not since it was just a few dollars more and then my daughter can have it. As it turns out this one is better and less expensive than the original one I bought! He said the light is easier on his eyes and he really likes that it's super easy to carry around. Highly recommend this!

Good quality paper and light. It was easy enough for my 7 yr old to use.

Got this for our kids to "level up" their flip book skills. So far it's doing the trick. Bright light, good quality kit. It's especially nice that you can adjust the brightness level, plus it automatically turns off if you forget to. Glad we bought it!

This Flip Book Kit was exactly as described, and everything was included... BUT, I was giving this as a gift, and it came in a completely plain brown box, no image on the outside, and no paperwork on the inside! No instructions, ideas or pictures!! I actually printed a photograph off the internet and glued it on the cover of the box! Then, I found flip-book instructions and printed them out to include them in the box. This isn’t a problem if buying for yourself, but as a gift... you might find something better.
