Pine Tar 92 g

I had the dreaded pregnancy rash from week 37 onwards, also known as PUPPP or PEP rash. I had painful and itchy hives over 80% of my body - bump, arms, legs, hips, shoulders. I couldn’t really sleep at night, getting an average of 1-2 hours total and couldn’t bear anything touching me. This soap made a huge difference to relieving the itch. The first day I used it, I had 5 hours uninterrupted sleep before needing to take my next shower. I would shower every 5 hours or so just to relieve the itch over time and when I gave birth 2 days later, the rash began to resolve itself. I had bought/prescribed every possible solution - steroid creams, antihistamines, steroids, itch relief creams, aloe Vera gel, menthol cream and so many more and this was the only thing that gave any relief. I wish I had bought it sooner!

At 34weeks pregnant I developed a rash, doctors we’re not great help just prescribing me with different creams to try and said it will go once baby has arrived or maybe a a couple weeks after. Unbearable itching I thought I’d give this a go even though price tag experience for bar of soap! I think what I had was pupp or polymorphic eruption pregnancy rash (pep)I never write reviews but felt like this soap has really helped I’m not completely itch free but the redness and soreness have gone which means I’m straching ALOT less!

I have never reviewed anything on amazon before, but felt compelled to tell EVERYONE how amazing this product is!I developed the pregnancy related PUPPP rash on my belly at 37 weeks just as I started to stretch. It was driving me insane, I literally could not stop itching morning, noon and right through the night keeping both me and my partner awake at a time when we both needed as much sleep as possible. I couldn’t bear clothes touching it, nothing I purchased or was prescribed from the gp seemed to help until I came across this soap. I got a good lather on my bump 4/5 times a day and rinsed in a cool shower as hot water seemed to aggravate it. The soap smells awful and is expensive, but it is the only thing that gave me any relief at all. I also used e45 itch relief cream & bio oil gel after to keep the skin moisturised. After 4 days the rash has completely resolved. Best £7.50 ever spent!

I ordered this for skin condition, as Coal Tar soap no longer contains Coal Tar! I knew it would whiff, but WOW it was so strong, all other packages from Amazon stank of it and I left it in the box. Unfortunately I am going to give it to family member with same skin condition. I cannot tell you if it worked, as the smell caused breathing issues and I had to take an anti hystamine. First time I have reacted to Pine and I was okay with essential oil, but that is distilled. I am so glad I purchased the soap and not the body wash in the brand. I am certain it would work though, unfortunately not for me. Shame they don't offer smaller tester bars.

Smells like gently smoldering tyres. Something smelling so no-nonsense no-compromise you'd expect to help get rid of nits (or worse). Can't imagine anyone Choosing to make their soap smell literally like burning rubber. Somebody else says it turns into a sort of not unpleasant pine tar scent after use - Will update (have literally opened the box and resisted hurling it to the other side of the room whilst fighting my gag reflex).Update: Having it refunded and picking a French organic etc brand. Smell is too tough to take, and Lingers after your shower. Used it twice and that was enough. No +/- to report as a soap, it's the scent that will be your own personal marmite.
