Not easy to make
I believe there are many factors that contribute to the success of the crystal growth. Ours didn't turn out well which was disappointing for my 7 yrs old niece.

Malo
Los marcadores venían secos, el líquido venía cristalizado, solo vienen 2 arbolitos. Se cristalizaron solo las puntas de los árboles y no agarró el color, se cristalizó todo blanco.

Maybe not just like the picture in the product listing, but we had fun!
We had so much fun doing this project. My 8-year-old son was doing an ocean habitat project, and we needed something that looked like a coral reef. I found this kit on Amazon would be a neat project to add to his habitat scene. The directions were simple and the results quite fast! I echo what others say about the markers - it takes some time to color the trees because there isn't a lot of ink in the markers. Also, the orange didn't come through for us on the actual crystal. But we took time to color all trees as thoroughly as possible - right before bedtime. Then, my son went to bed so excited to see what he'd wake up to the next day. He wasn't disappointed when he woke up! They had fully bloomed. I would caution that these trees are incredibly FRAGILE! The crystals themselves are almost like powder on the trees and can fall off easily. Additionally, the trees in their stands aren't anchored very well - they really just sit in the stand and aren't fixed there. When we were done with the trees, I let my son "destroy" them, which really meant just brushing the crystals off the trees :). But, it felt oddly satisfying for him. I did have him wash his hands due to the residue. All that being said, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. It was cool, interesting, and quite beautify. Our family loved this.

Useless waste of time
Followed simple instructions exactly - nothing happened. Liquid sits in base. No idea how its supposed to climb the tree!!

Very cute!
Got this as a lil gift for my bestfriend, she loved it and has had fun making them! They start growing crystals pretty much right away, but it can take a while for it to get full like on the box. The one pictured was started sometime before Jan 1st and it’s still not fully done, but still quite cute!Recommend as a cute little activity to do (-:
