プラモの出来はとてもいいです。旧作シリーズのメカコレと比べて継ぎ目は目立たないしパーツもキッチリ組み合わさるし・・・。ただ、艦のプロポーションがでっぷりしている上に艦橋が艦に不釣合いな具合に大きく、映像の艦の形とはかなり違う形状になっています。なぜ変えたのだろうか？

2 colors, snap fit, awesome details? What's not to like. I bought this with the other 2 and spent the next hour building a fleet. I felt like a kid again, but this time technology and patience were on my side. Compared to the 70's versions of these ships, these are so much easier to build. No glue required, and if you have colored markers, like the Gundam markers, you can highlight the details and use a q-tip to rub off the excess ink and make them really stand out.I waited a couple of months for all of these to become available and ordered them all from different places in Japan for around $8 each. Having never ordered from overseas before I was worried that they would get lost or just take forever to arrive. Fear not, because I had confirmation within a day, and updates from the trackers for every step of the way. This was really fun to see them going from place to place. Wish I could travel like my packages. I finally got the boxes very well packaged, the filler page from the local town paper was an added bonus. Note to self, find a translator.The 1:1000 scale models (thanks to the show and movies) are even better for detail, larger in size (and price), but at the standardized mecha size of 3 1/2" you are not going to find a better set of desktop toys. So far, there are over a dozen models and growing, I am already adding another shelf to show them off.

Easy to assemble. No glue required. These look more like space ships than some of the others which resemble battle ships. Snap together very nicely.
