Foamtouch Upholstery Foam, Polyurethane, White, 2x30x72

We bought a new couch with 3 cushions. So hard to find bench seats unless a day bed. I wanted a firm bench style foam for this couch. We cover seat with a blanket as we have cats, so foam would be hidden. Well, this foam has certainly delivered. It is comfortable, yet firm. I had to cut it almost in half but will save the pieces in case I need them for something else. It was pricey, but truly well worth the money. It accomplished what I wanted and I am happy. I would recommend if you are looking for firmness and quality.

The foam didn’t measure 5” after letting it settle from packaging. It was 4.25”, so that was disappointing. And now, after only 3 months, the foam isn’t firm at all, you sink right down after a few mins. Too sad.

In the door, out the door all night long. I needed a comfortable place to sleep. Our big o’ 18 1/2 year old boxer mix is in and out all night long. Sleeping in the back of the house is impossible. I slept on the couch for awhile until my bones just could not take it anymore.**What a great deal on-a firm Comfortable foam ‘ mattress’ pad!**I cut it to size of the couch. Super simple as I used a sharp utility knife. A foam knife , craft knife or even a sharp machete would have made a cleaner cut . <~ So my husband told me .I didn’t mark it it used a piece of heavy cardboard under it and a book that was an inch wider than where I needed to cut. The inch gave me a handle to hold on to while I scored the top of the foam pad.**My point is it is easy to cut to size., I have been sleeping sound, no more aches and pains. My shoulders have torn ligaments that give me a lot of pain especially when a lie down. I have had less pain sleeping on the foam pad than on my $1700 Saativa mattress.**It can be a little warm so I’m looking for a way other than my AC & my heater on to keep the room temperature comfortable. But that’s normal for our house.**I really like foam pad and sure appreciate the restful sleep in between letting the dog in and out all night long..**Pro: Retains it shape, has NO bad smell, was sent in a box with a breathable fabric wrapped around it to slide it carefully in the box so not tear or dirty pad. Comfortable!!!! Cuts well.**Con: It could be a little warm to sleep on with the wrong bedding or no air flow. It is actually a pad to refill cushions and not advertised as a bed. So keep that in mind.•To keep it clean if using as a mattress I suggest a cover with a cool cotten top .

I am using it to re-upholster a lounger chair and find it sturdy enough to cut to shape and firm enough to sit on without feeling the chair frame.

This was exactly what I needed. My sofa back cushions were just a little too soft and they sunk when I leaned against them. This was just firm enough and now they're super comfy. It was bigger than I needed but super easy to cut with my electric knife. Very happy with this purchase.
