For some reason my toddler only likes fruit puree in these pouches so these are perfect! especially when we are on the go or i need to make snacks in advance for him to bring to school or when grandma is baby-sitting. Easy to clean and easy to use! love it!

Excellent products
I never write reviews but feel that these Wee Sprout products truly deserve a mention. Firstly, the company have provided excellent customer service due to very prompt delivery and personal follow up emails. I bought the Nature's Little Squeeze pouches and Nature's Little Cubes freezer tray to start us off on our weaning journey. I have used both products this week and am delighted with them. The pouches hold plenty of purée and can be stored in the fridge or freezer. These are very handy for taking out and about. They wash perfectly in the dishwasher too which is a bonus. The purée is easy to put inside and the pouches seal with no leaking. The freezer tray holds a perfect portion size for a baby who is being weaned and crucially the food is easy to pop out of the trays.Being a first time mother I was a bit sceptical about making my own baby food but these products have made my life so much easier. They are cost effective and have given me greater control over what I feed my baby.I will definitely be ordering more of these products in the future. Well done Wee Sprout!

Meeting all my expectations and more!
I have a 2.5 year old girl and a 11 month old boy. My oldest has always been a good eater. I made my own baby food for her, and she ate pretty much everything I gave her in good volumes. Still does for the most part. My son, on the other hand has been nothing but challenging in this area. My biggest challenge has been that he refused the spoon and insisted on feeding himself. But a kid can only survive so long on Cheerios! One day out of desperation, I tried a store-bought pouch like these. My daughter never liked them until she was much older, but he sucked it right down at about 8 months old - he just loved that he could hold it himself and he "got" the idea of sucking on the top. But they were SO expensive, and I already had baby food made that I want to use, so I bought them every once in a while, but still struggled to find other ways to feed him that he would take to, all the while loving when I "got to" give him a "sucky thing" (like my daughter calls them) because they were clean, easy and he would eat the whole thing, so I knew he had a full belly.Eventually, I looked into "self-fill" pouches once I found they existed. I was a little frustrated by what I found first, because you needed to buy a fill station or pump, and since they filled from the little spout on the top, they would have been really hard to clean, and they were technically not intended to be used more than once, etc., etc., etc. Then I stumbled upon Nature's Little Squeeze after following links, consumer suggestions and commenters recommendations on Amazon. First of all, I loved all the specs: made to be reusable (yay!), dishwasher safe, freezer safe, easy to clean and easy for fill because they open from the bottom (I loved this feature most of all). They also had the best reviews of any other "fill from the bottom" pouches I found. They seemed a little more expensive than some of the other kinds, but I trusted the reviewers and my gut and figured it would be worth the money if they worked better than the others! And they worked SO well!! I gave one each to my kids at breakfast time and just put some applesauce in there. First of all, I was happy that all I needed was a spoon. The last thing I need in the kitchen is another gadget to store or clean! Lord knows I have enough dishes! Then, they both devoured them! And when they both wanted more, I just opened up the bottom and spooned in more applesauce! Amazing. Added bonuses: my daughter likes her applesauce warm, so I just dropped the filled pouch in warm water and done. When they had some leftovers, I just popped them in the fridge. Later, at dinner, I had my son finish his leftover applesauce, rinsed it out (yes, it is TOTALLY easy to clean - I was even able to stick a bottle brush in there which wasn't necessary this time, but it was nice to know I could), and then put a jar of baby food in it that I hadn't been able to get him to eat, and he sucked the whole thing down in a couple minutes. It was a revelation. I wish I would have bought these earlier! Cheaper, easier, less waste and I can put whatever I want in them. I can see so much potential: not only can I "sneak" a bunch of nutritious food in there for both of my kids, but I can even just put my frozen cubes of homemade baby food that have gone uneaten for months in them and let them thaw in there if I want or use up the jars of baby food that I was trying to figure out how to get rid of.Also, we are traveling to New Zealand in a couple months. I am excited to think that I can just throw these in our luggage empty and have an easy, cheap and familiar feeding option once we get there with no added bulk or weird customs issues or spillage worries. I won't need anything but a spoon to fill them and water to wash them - and I'm pretty sure New Zealand has those - even the airports for that matter. Hooray!THANK YOU. In one day, this genius product has solved a lot of my problems without adding anything to my already over-loaded to-do list.

clean easily, and are just super-practical
These poaches work really well! They close extremely securely (definitely no leakage!), clean easily, and are just super-practical. I am using them for older kids (and me) for smoothies, apple sauce etc. for school and on trips/outings and thus am happy with the largest size (7oz). It still fits in a lunch box or snack bag easily and does not take much space because it's pretty flat. It's great to fill a bunch of them and freeze them in advance for the week, and if one puts them in the lunch box frozen, they double as an icepack ... It is such a great alternative to the one-time-use poaches in terms of environment and cost. The kids in school have been asking my kids about them and I am thinking of giving a few as gifts so that they get inspired to switch to reusable ones, too. The company responded super-fast when I emailed them to ask how to dry the poaches after washing (simple trick is to put the lid inside to keep the poach from closing; I guess I could have thought of that!). Love this product and enjoy using it!

Great! Tricky Opening
I love these! They have already paid for themselves in just a few uses. They really are easy to wash and made of high quality material. My only critical comments would be these:1. The opening and be hard to open (good for not losing material, bad for your hands for cleaning and filling) I hurt my finger opening the bottom. So far though my daughter can't open it. Also, she takes to these just like the store ones. They are 100% toddler proof in their copy cat appearance. She can't tell the difference. I think on some level she enjoys the pouches just because they seem fancy/store bought so these are great in that they are identical, if not a bit bigger in appearance. (Even better!)2. I had some leakage in the fridge from them when I was storing them. I can't be 100% sure if this is my user error from over filling or if the pouches leaked a bit. Not a big deal in the fridge, but if it had leaked in my backpack, I would have been upset. So fair warning there.3. The fill line is deceptive. I have to fill slightly lower than the line to make sure the container will close all the way without extra material falling out. I would say .5 cm lower than the line. This means there isn't actually that much material in the pouch. It just appears like there is.My advice is to make sure if you are using a smoothie or juice that it is not too diluted. We had better luck with apple sauce mixes or material of that consistency (yogurt mixes). My daughter loves these and I enjoy being able to make cheaper mixtures at home for her in the Vitamix. I fill up all the pouches and store them in the fridge. I keep the clean ones in the cabinet. It seems to be working out great so far. Cheaper and better for the environment than the store bought pouches. I'm hoping to eventually switch to only these ones.I only buy pouches under $1.00, but even by that metric, you only need to use each pouch 3 (2.66) times to have them pay for themselves. Also, if you don't need 6, you could split these with a friend! Great gift idea for a mom with toddlers!
