Candid, practical advice for those looking to kickstart their entrepreneurial ambitions
Full disclosure: I've known Jaclyn for a decade. I met her at the point when she first moved to LA without knowing a single soul and have proudly watched her create and cultivate the career of her dreams. She never asked me to leave a review, but I've felt inclined to because of how much I enjoyed "Work Party." In this book outlining her journey, Jaclyn provides the perfect mix of real-talk and confidence building. She demystifies what a lot of people try to hide as "secrets to success." She provides actionable next steps for those looking to build their own thriving empires. And, she doesn't try to sugarcoat the fact that it takes a lot of hard work, perseverance, and falling on your butt to "have it all." Highly recommended to any woman looking to take an idea from side hustle to thriving business.

Vulnerable honest journey + business fundamentals = must read for women
Jaclyn’s authentic voice is consistent throughout and she delivers two important gifts to readers. First, an honest raw account of failure and disappointment that doesn’t turn into an overnight fairytale. The last portion of the book is a practical guide to business lingo which is not only useful but a reality check for anyone who thinks launching a business is all “party” and minimal work. The entrepreneurial path is not for everyone and it’s critical to be as knowledgeable as possible before making a leap. Therefore, all of these founder stories and the advice are applicable to women working in traditional companies - the next generation of intrapreneurs changing companies from the inside.
