Really useful book- inspiring and a great reference for methods.

While I could have done without the forward, intro, and Brief history of encaustic painting, this book is well-organized and easy to navigate, and has tons of examples of contemporary encaustic art. The unique thing about this book is the short segment that details exhibiting work, including methods for transporting and promoting your work.Although it's less tutorial than I expected, this book serves as a great reference for contemporary work and innovative application of the encaustic medium.

only last part of the book is dedicated to give advice on encaustic technigques, most of the book just shows some art form different aritsts
