Solar & 12 Volt Power for beginners: off grid power for everyone

Discouraged by fundamental errors eg adding amps in a series circuit.
While I appreciate the style attempted some descriptions seem weirdly ambiguous (saying Watts are like the speed electricity travels around a circuit? What?). Other fundamentally important facts seem to be perhaps dangerously wrong. Page 11 states that amps are added in a series circuit, this is wrong. Voltages across components in a series circuit are added & amps remain the same. If someone deducts the converse & set up a parallel circuit thinking the amps will be the same, they could have problems (like a burnt down house if they don't fit the right fuse or fit one at all). I feel like I have to be on guard reading this so that I don't unlearn something, so any useful knowledge is marred. On the other hand I now need to double check every "fact" so it's a hell of a revision. I'm disappointed but wanted to write the review because at least one factual error in the book could be serious.
