I bought this engraving pen to mark my laptop. Never having used one, I thought it might be difficult to handle. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover it's almost like writing with a pen. The tip dug/dragged only a little, which makes sense because it's gouging the metal. But it's minimal, so engraving legible letters and numbers worked well from the start. Also, the pen is light weight, comes with 2 AAA batteries, and fits in the hand like a large pen. Highly recommended!

Light and easy to hold- works well

Great engraver. I used it on metal and plastics and it didn't jump all over the place like a dremel. Also has a triangle tip where you put your fingers and can engrave like you write. Great buy!

Great product

My mistake that I didn’t test it as soon as received. Initially didn’t work even with using new batteries. Seller said to send video of battery change. Button was stuck until daughter applied full body pressure. It turned on but can only turn off by removing batteries. Would rate engraving as average. Would not recommend.
