To be honest, I bought these cups because I often spill my drinks on the couch and got tired of it. Two days ago, I was holding a cup of ice water in one hand when my boyfriend handed me a plate of food on a paper plate. Something went wrong and I ended up spilling the ice water all over the living room floor. My boyfriend smiled and rolled his eyes and made a comment about needing to get me an “adult sippy cup”. I laughed and pointed to one of these cups, “like that?” I asked. He chuckled and said yes, then grabbed the cup, filled it with ice and water and brought it back.Then last night he asked me if I could order more of these cups. I laughed and said,”Why, do you need an adult sippy cup too?”He laughed and said yes, then I told him about the yellow cup that I haven’t used that’s sitting on the floor of the office. He said that would work. So now he has an adult sippy cup too.I love these cups because they hold in the cold so beverages stay colder longer and ice doesn’t melt quite as fast. The only problem I’ve had is that sometimes the lid doesn’t seat properly so it doesn’t screw on right. If that happens and you grab the cup by the lid and pick it up, your drink will spill. I believe this to be a manufacturing flaw, as two of the three cups I have have this issue.
