USPC Bicycle Yellow Trace Playing Cards Sun Moon Design

I collect decks of cards and these are great. Your typical bicycle quality with a cool design.

I am an amateur magician so I enjoy finding different decks of cards to handle and use for practice. I purchased some Red Trace cards and was pleasantly surprised, so when the chance came up I grabbed one of the yellow trace decks. The quality of the card is comparable to a standard Bicycle deck, and the Jokers and Ace of Spades are lovely.As with the Red Trace deck, it came with a special Ace and two of clubs so you could do an improvised "Ultimate Three Card Monte" (ala Michael Skinner) with a freshly opened deck.For some reason, the 5 of Hearts has ribbon across the center pip with the notation on it: 2:18 If anyone has an idea why that's on there, I'd love to know. It's not something I've seen previously.So unfortunately while the cards are interesting and of good quality, there is some problem with the finish. Brand new out of the box they clump together in groups. Multiple spreads, springs, and faros to break them in hasn't improved this - they simply don't ribbon spread or fan like a good deck of cards.I rate these an 8 of 10 - visually interesting and a few really nice surprises, but I can't give them a 10 because of this clumping problem. For most things they're fine, but if you have to fan them or spread them on a table or mat you're going to want a different deck.

Received this deck of cards and was pleased by its Trace (or reverse-back) color scheme. I have currently collected 9 different colors for games in a large group, points awarded by color and the unique color scheme in this deck stands out against the others to help prevent mis-sorting or re-sorting cards multiple times. Would like to see more Trace colors available for Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Indigo/Light Blue/Turquoise, and Violet/Purple/Fuschia. Some colors appear available, but I cannot tell if they are Rider Back or a different pattern.

I ordered this deck expecting it to be as good as the other trace decks I ordered. I opened the red deck - no problem. It fanned out smoothly, and I had no problems shuffling it. In the yellow deck, however, the cards were sticking to each other. I couldn’t even do a decent fan without the cards clumping together. Keep in mind these cards were brand new, seal intact, never been opened.Otherwise, it’s a decent deck with the yellow back and custom jokers.

This is definitely a great quality pack made by bicycle which all the top magicians would use, and it comes with two gaffed cards for a clever beginners trick.
