Excellent Feed That Chickens Love!
I’ve been using Mile Four Organic Chicken Feed for a while now, and my chickens absolutely go crazy for it! While we let them free range, this feed is perfect for herding them back into the coop at night or as a treat when they need to stay in the run for a longer period. The moment they hear the shake of the container, they come running from all over! We’ve tried several other organic feeds, but most of them were just dust. What sets Mile Four apart is the quality—it’s full of whole grains, which not only keeps the chickens happy but also gives me confidence that they’re getting high quality feed. It’s become a staple in our routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier organic feed for their flock.

The girls are laying again!
I have five young Buff Orpington ladies, three who had started laying, and 2 POL pullets. I had been feeding a different brand of organic, non-GMO, no corn or soy feed, but it was pelleted and my chooks didn’t like it at all and stopped eating it. When I switched their feed to Mile Four’s beautiful blend of whole grains, they dove right in and seem to really love it. Within a week the three Bigs started to lay again and the two Littles’ combs and wattles are to turning red, with one “thinking about” squatting for me. I credit the excellent feed for their progress. One other great point is that, because the feed is a blend of distinct whole grains, I’ve almost no waste as each hen will pick out the ones she wants at that feeding and the others will finish up the rest … and at the next feeding they all seem to switch. Everyone gets a balanced diet. I do feed free choice oyster shell and a tray of cooked meats and other kitchen scraps daily. They free range from sun up to sundown. Then when they’re back in the coop they all eat the Mile Four. It may seem pricey, but for healthy hens I’ll be ordering again.

Grand product.
The media could not be loaded. Love love love!! My quail has done wonderfully on this diet paired with fresh fruits and vegetables of course! Below I've attached an image and video of my quails set up and inside of the white bowl is the feed, she really enjoys it!

Chicken love that
My chicken love that feed . Most of other brands have really small particles that would just go to waste . So thank you for a good meal for my birds . Silkies , buff Orpington and barred rock approved

Good, but very powdery!
I love Mile Four for their ingredients and quality, however, the whole grain has so much powder, I have way too much waste. I contacted Mile Four, and was told that the powder is flax powder, and important nutritionally. They sent instructions for fermenting to reduce waste. Great, my chickens like mush even less than they like powder. I now mix the Mile Four with another organic, whole grain feed, hoping they get everything they need.

I saw hay in chicken feed........hmmmmmm
Unfortunately my chickens did not like this feed and they are not usually fussy! I found Hay and sawdust looking stuff in the feed as well. Very expensive for something I cannot use. Sorry I cannot recommend this feed. Going back to mt other brand that i know they like!

The chickens like it and small songbirds can't eat it.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The chickens grew to be more than 2 feet tall on this, some dried maggots, and any bugs they found in the backyard... huge birds. They were fed this for 3 months. Each sack only lasted the 5 birds a month.
