Rui Smiths Carbon Steel Cuticle Nippers - Professional Carbon Steel French Handle - 6mm Jaw, Single Spring

This is the third clipper that I’ve tried. My favorite, “Tweezerman” standards are not the same as they used to be so I have been searching for a different brand. I had to send them back since they wouldn’t cut but tugged at my cuticle as did the second set. This Rui nippers are SO SHARP that you must be sure to be safe with them. They are great! I wish though that they were offered with the half jaw that I am used to and have more control with. I have been very pleased using these. I also prefer the single spring on these as I am able to move it out of the way as needed occasionally for getting a different angle. The carbon steel is strong and all in all, they are very well made, comparable to the German standard that I was accustomed to using.

I LOVE my new Rui Smiths Carbon Steel Cuticle Nippers! They have a weighted feel and perform like a high quality implement. They are balanced, so smooth to use, and very sharp. After bathing, I use a cuticle pusher on still pliable cuticle, and then use the Rui Smiths Nippers to trim any excess cuticle or hangnails.Aside from the high quality, the most exciting thing about these Cuticle Nippers is the price. I already knew that I was buying Cuticle Nippers at a great price, but was amazed at the quality I found inside the package! Who knew? This is a definite win-win! Highly recommended by me to you!

I bought this cuticle nipper due to all the good reviews. I didn't get a chance to use it for awhile after I bought it so was unable to return this. I have experience with cuticle nippers before and this does not work. It does not "clip" your cuticle, you have to pull it to remove it (you are almost ripping off your cuticle). I don't know if I got a lemon but it does not work well at all. OK, so I thought it must just not be sharp enough so I had the edge sharpened and nothing changed (the other scissor and knife that I had sharpened worked well so I know it was not the sharpening service). Don't buy!

It's very sharp, but the spring gets a little sticky after use and starts to bind when squeezing the handles to trim your cuticles.

Very professional and superb quality. Price is great and really fast shipping. But, be careful, they are very sharp! They come with a cover for the tip of the nippers, which is great to protect the tips when you store the nippers.

I normally order the gold ones which I love, but was trying to save some money. Never again these are sharp but don’t cut as well as the gold ones

This is an excellent cuticle clipper for this price point, very similar to much more expensive ones. I have owned many and I would purchase this one again if I needed another. The construction of the device is well done and it works. I am recommending this product to those considering a purchase.

Die Zange ist leicht und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Schneiden sind sehr scharf und arbeiten akkurat. Allein die Feder könnte etwas strammer sein. Aber für den Preis absolut empfehlenswert.

I think this has got to be the best nipper I've ever bought...and I've bought a lot. Super sharp and you don't need to squeeze hard to get an extremely clean trim.
