Lots of info
I like this book, in that there are lots of photographs and they do help to inspire and clarify the text info. Having briefly read it from cover to cover I'm happy that I can make the moss garden that was my goal when I ordered the book. At the beginning of reading it, though, I wasn't entirely clear about a few details - it didn't take you step-by-step through how to handle moss when you are taking some moss from a bigger piece of moss and to begin with it isn't clear how to plant it. Later the right soil is clearly explained and using the photos and text I realised you just sit the moss on the soil rather than planting it the way you do in conventional gardening. So overall I'm pleased with this but if there's ever a new print run perhaps it needs a bit of tweaking in its organisation so that a complete novice is led more logically through the processes.

If you are an experienced moss gardener or kokedama enthusiast it might be a bit simplistic but it has great photography and lots of design ideas
Not many books in English that cover this subject. As a novice I found the layout and information inspiring and informative. If you are an experienced moss gardener or kokedama enthusiast it might be a bit simplistic but it has great photography and lots of design ideas.

Good info and images but..
Good information and images, but there is a childlike quality to some of the little comments doted throughout the book that I found let it down.
