The first thing I appreciated when I received my mug was the burlap bag it came in. Nice touch, and practical. Let me tell you why. First we have to take a trip to my first drink of this mug: To Christen the event I had no other choice but to indulge in a heavy drought of mead. Upon my first sip I immediately grew to 6' 8", sprouted a lush mane of chest hair, and tripled my bench and squat 1-rep max. I finished the entire mug in the next gulp and released a hearty and haunting laugh, wide-eyed and full of bloodlust. A vision then came to me. In this vision I was standing knee deep in a large pool of blood. The slain corpses of my foes were all around me. My bare chest was heaving, covered in gore. Adrenaline coursed through my veins and I looked in victory to the Western Hill. There I witnessed Ysgramor, leader of the first 500 Companions, weilding the crimson stained Wuuthrad. The great beast of a man reared back and raised his fist to the heavens. I too gazed up to the darkening sky and the clouds parted. An ancient Blood Dragon came screaming down amidst the ensuing maelstrom of blood. I inhaled a deep breath and held it for a moment, savoring what was destined to come next. Only when I could see the whites of the Dragon's eyes I realeased my mighty Thuum, uttering the pure destructive dragon-speak of lore. Before disintegrating, the Blood Dragons last emotion was fear, for I could taste it when I consumed his soul. It was only for a fleeting second, but in that one second I heard one phrase uttered by all the Souls of the Dead: The Dragonborn returns!Upon awaking from this vision-quest, I immediately went online and checked my family heritage on ancestry. Results: 100% Scandinavian. I was born in Korea to a Korean mother.I used the burlap bag to store Hircine's ring.

2 stars for fine products, 2 stars for even better customer service, and 1 star for making me laugh.Ordered 2 tankards for graduation gifts. When they arrived, one had a quarter-inch gap around 3/4s of the tankard, the other had no bottom at all! The warped, wooden plug lay separately in the bottom of the bag.I emailed Norse Tradesman. They sent a response the next day. All they asked for were photos of the defective tankards and Amazon order number.The following day, two replacements were on their way, no charge. They arrived today and, despite some alarming abuse to the box by UPS, the tankards were in excellent condition and even more handsome than what we originally received (the direwolf engraving really pops out from black horns).Finally, Norse Tradesman gets points for its sense of humor.The young lady I corresponded with began her response with "Greetings...These are ill tidings indeed." After providing instructions, she signed off, "With honor," gave her name, and title: Norse Tradesman Shieldmaiden. Considering that her surname was Hispanic, (I could be wrong, but I don't think the Norse raided down to the Iberian Peninsula), I enjoyed the unexpected smile.Good company to deal with. They turned a bad experience into a good one, and made me laugh on top of it.

Upon receiving my mug I was happy with the looks and craftsmanship of the mug. So far I have not had any issues with the mug. I have purchased other horn mugs in the past and with the purchase of this one I would use this company again. The only thing I did notice about the mug was that there were cracks near the bottom around the bottom seal. I have had issues with other mugs in the past with leaking and hope that this won't be an issue with this one. So far so good though.
