I Love You Because You're You

It's really important to me that my kids believe they are worthy of love no matter the state they're in. This book highlights that so beautifully; "I love you when you're angry... I love you when you're wild... I love you when you're sad...... I love you when you're playful..." It is just this mom telling her little one that she loves him always, in every state. The rhyming is wonderful and the illustrations are perfect for the feel of the book. I bought this to read to my little ones on Valentine's Day and then over and over again. It's simple text, easy for them to understand, yet still conveying the profound message. I really love this book. Buy it, read it, let your children know they are loved UNCONDITIONALLY, simply because they are them.

It's a very cute book, and a good message of unconditional love.My son loves this book. It has a good meter and lots of repetition ("I love you").He brings me this book often to read to him. He really likes to read it before bed. It is one of the few books that he consistently wants to read (with me and alone! Not that he can read yet).I'll likely purchase another in the future for my friend who also has a toddler (who also totally adores this book).

I got choked up the first time I read this to my little one. Such a sweet little story, perfect for bedtime or any time. I am always saying "I love you no matter what, and I will always love you." This book is so specific and spells out all the ways that a parent loves a child unconditionally. It's helpful for instilling a sense of security that a child can never lose your love, no matter what. So sweet! And the illustrations are beautiful.

This book is sweet and touching. It graphically sets aside behavior and moods to show a parent loves a child unconditionally. My children and I love this book! The illustrations are adorable, too.

Daughter repeated the phrase a few times days later and I think this really shows a child that no matter what you do and no matter how you act that the love for them will always be there and will never change. Good message for sure and well written.
