Q: is this thing able to trim hair on the whole vulva? or is it only for the bikini line area? ( mainly interested in trimming my labia majora hairs )

Yes, with the guard on it is able to trim hair on the labia majora. I set it to the lowest setting with no case of 'catching'.

Q: Has anyone been able to order replacement blades? I have searched the Panasonic site & can't find blades. Probably cost as much as a new one though...

Paper I just got with mine says they can be ordered online or over the phone, part no. for the blade assembly is WES246A1058, price listed is $10.50, but it had a note that prices are subject to change.Other part nos. are WES246A7398 for the comb attachment at $2.27, WES246A3128 for the battery cover at $1.70, and WES76806761 for the cleaning brush at $0.95 if anyone needs them. The model no. for the shaver is ES246AC.

Q: New to trimming. Do I have to angle the guard or do I place it flat over my skin? Also do I move downward (with) or up (against)?

I don't use the guard hardly ever. I used it to trim when my hair was long, and then I took the guard off and was just careful. But you place the guard (or the razor directly, if you're not using the guard), right flat over your skin. I move up (against).
