Why do I like this so much? Isn't just at the length is right. The cord is lightweight, and really pleasing. It doesn't get tied up in knots. Somehow it's just the best leash I've ever had. Weird, huh?

I was struggling on walks with my dogs until we purchased this 10 foot leash. It's the perfect length to keep your dog in a safe radius while still giving them room to explore. I prefer this leash to a regular long line or a retractable leash. It's light weight, flexible, and easy to manage. I often let the leash drag on the sidewalk, which has created some snags in the fabric. But considering everything it has been through, this leash has held up very well. It's easy to clean, too. After going to the beach or walking through the woods, the dirt washes right out. I would buy several more!

10/10 right off the bat. This is perfect for medium to small dogs. Even large dogs, if you know they are trained well.A cool feature I could point out is that you can braid the leash to decrease the size and if you need it to be longer, all you have to do is let out one knot. It’s made out of a material that’s really easy to manipulate if needed i.e. repairs and stuff like that. Super happy with my purchase.

While unsure if needed, I added some additional threads on the end of the leash (as some people said it came apart).This seems to be very sturdy - the rope itself is for SURE good... I have a 75lbs American Staffordshire Terrier and he can pull VERY hard... this leash is perfect (although again... I added extra threads on the ends to hold the loops together.. not sure if that would have came apart or not... but I can say the rope itself will NOT break (as long as the ends stay sewn together).The clip works great also - I did have to add a little 3-in-1 oil to the spring lock part as it started to get hard to open... but has held up great with no issues at all.Cannot speak to how well it holds up to a dog chewing on it.... but as it is a walking leash... just pay attention and tell your dog to stop chewing on it if he starts... my dog has nibbled on it a tad, but I just tell him no... never had any visible damage to it at all :)The hand loop is plenty big and comfortable... would be nice if it had a rubber grip, however as most leashes that do only have a cheap foam grip that reviewers say comes apart... I am glad this seller did not put something there that would only fall apart (as again... while it is winter right now and I am wearing gloves most of the time when using this leash)... it is still comfortable :)

Bought in the beginning of the year, super durable. Still in great condition at the end of the year. Strong, easy to hold even with my stubborn corgi who pulls strong.

I’ve been happy with this leash. I’ve had it for four months, and it’s been durable and still looks good. I have no complaints!

This leash is great!It's the perfect thickness.Durable.. I have a dog who just about pulls me on my face.I got the longer leash. It's working out very well.Just have to be aware of your surroundings... If I see something that will get her going I start reeling the leash to be shorter.This way I have control. I'm glad I found this leash. A musthave for dogs that like pull hard..Easy to hold. Seems strong.

This is a low cost leash and a fair value leash. I would've preferred to pay more for a higher quality leash but this is what I found and purchased and overall it is OK. For someone looking for a low coat option, this could work well.I bought the 6' version to use with my Belgian malinois. It works fine. It looks nice. There are 2 things I don't like. 1 is the synthetic material of the line - I just think it looks a little cheap (which makes sense since it was cheap). My other complaint is on the clasp. It does not operate smoothly. It's very "sticky" and cheap feeling (again, makes sense).I've used the leash for a month. It still looks as good as new and the issues have not been significant enough for me to ditch it and buy a new one (though I've thought about it). I think it's a fair value and a fair option to consider.

I’m excited for our new lead! -8.5 miniature pinscher - squirrel hunter-It’s nice and long (10ft) and soft. But be careful on wrapping your hands if your dog isn’t fully trained on the leash you can get rope burn easily on this climbers rope.It’s so lightweight!! The clasp is nice and light, which I needed for my small breed, and still durable! I didn’t think the single stitch on the leather would be strong but it seems to be that it is! It’s not holding it together anyways just hiding the connection seams of the rope so I’m not worried.Oh and the black isn’t black. It’s a dark grey. But I like that too so no big deal for me!Love this leash and the price is great

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these because I wanted two leads exactly the same length (and style/feel... I like being symmetrical! 😂) for walking two of my dogs who I walk together (my 8 year old working sheepdog, Skye, and the apprentice - 15 week old Zen). Annoyingly one is actually a couple of inches shorter than the other 😅 But I don't really notice and everything else about them is great at such a good price that I can't really complain.I wanted the quarter inch rather than half inch width because I thought the hardware would be lighter for the puppy (don't know what the hardware is like on the half inch but this one is fine) so the choice was limited and I couldn't get the length I wanted in the colour I wanted.I went with 8ft and was worried that would be too long for what we need (we're doing a lot of walking in woodland and nature reserves at the moment where it is cooler. Due to nesting birds and other wildlife, dogs have to be on short leads) but they are actually perfect for letting them have space to sniff and explore when they can and, because they're comfortable and thin to hold, I can shorten one (when the puppy is annoying my older girl! 😂) or even both and still comfortably hold several loops in one hand.My dogs aren't pullers and I've only used them once so far so can't speak about durability yet. I probably won't remember to come back and update if/when they break to be honest because I have done quite a bit of hand and machine sewing of leads and harnesses and stuff so I'll probably just fix them.There isn't much stretch at all, just a couple of mm, and to the guy whose review mentioned that the stretch is no good because "you need a good slap when you need to give a correction"... Frankly, YOU need a good slap, mate. Then maybe you could join us in the 21st century and learn how to train with reward based methods so you don't NEED to use physical violence, fear or intimidation at all! 🙄I've been training and walking dogs both professionally and as a hobby for about 10 years so I've tried a lot of different leads and honestly these are really great and affordable.

I've had this leash almost a year now. It's my primary leash used on 2 walks per day. I got the 10 foot version. After a year of heavy use it is still in excellent condition. My dog is 35 lbs and often likes to pull. She has also chewed the leather pieces a bit. I was worried about it coming apart but it has held up extremely well. The clasp where you attach to the collar or harness has seized a few times but a bit of WD40 and it is good as new again. It is comfortable to hold too.
