Thomas and Friends Spin & Fix Thomas

My four year-old received this as a present from Santa this year and really loves it. He grasped the mechanics of picking up and moving the train holder and spinning. The little "tool" that lights up and makes sound is pretty cute (the watch type batteries should last a long time since it only works when you press on it). I will say it took my soon a little bit of practice to get the hang of releasing the train holder from the crane/claw you have to press down all the way..and..push down on the claw release which sometimes requires a little added pressure. This is a terrific toy for Thomas fans who collect the Track Master playsets... especially if they've seen Hero of the Rails.

My 20 month old is all into Thomas at the moment so got this as a X-mmas gift. After his naps he points to it & goes to play with it all the time. He does not know how to operate the claw completely but he is getting the hang of it. He presses on it & and tries to pick up the tunnel cage form point A to B. It gets loud but that's ok as long as he is leanring & enjoying. But hs knows to flip the swithces on the tracks for thomas to go. Overall for $25 it's a decent buy & it comes with a thomas train, that alone would cost $15.

Great for Thomas collectors

I was unaware that this was a used product for full price. The tracks are dirty. Still looking to make sure all the parts are there. The train battery leads are corroded. Hopefully my son won’t be too disappointed with this used product.

The claw doesn't work very well. It takes my kids like 5 minutes of trying over and over to get the claw to clap. My kids love the idea of fixing the train but get so frustrated tying to get it to work. Even myself and the wife have to spend 10-20 trys to get the darn thing to work.I paid $20 so it was a great price for the tracks and train, but not worth the frustration. I wish it would work the way it should.

I ordered this for my son for Christmas because he loves Thomas. He is also into fixing things with his little toys so I thought this would be the best of both. He likes putting Thomas and his other trains onto carrier that brings the train to the fixing area and pretending to fix it with his toys. The only thing I would say was bad is that it is a large piece and finding a storage spot for it when he want to play with just the tracks is tough. Other than that I would recommend it to all Thomas enthusiasts.

The track and train is much more durable than i have expected and my kid loved this when it was arrived and played with this for some time... slowly he lost interest on this as its a battery operated and he just have to sit and watch...kids 3 or less may enjoy this...

Bit disappointed with the quality of the toy set. Bid and bulky but not well made! My son stop playing after few days.
