A Lovely Story
This is a lovely story about people from two different groups, each taught that the other is bad, who come together and cause the groups to combine in peace.

Really good one with a long enough story. Value for the money and kids gonna love it.

Excellent as always
Amazon delivered this, this evening whilst my children were asleep.I opened the parcel and read the book immediately.I usually let my children do that. They enjoy the excitement of a delivery - especially a delivery for them. But this is Julia Donaldson and axel Scheffler.I couldn’t wait to dig in.Within pages I had a feeling the book had a important, subtle message. One that went hand in hand with the incredible message of inclusion and diversity that is the main theme of the book. My suspicion was all but confirmed on the final page.I absolutely loved the book. One of their best works in my opinion.Entertaining, funny and touching. What more would we expect from the pairing? Can’t wait to read it to the kids in the morning

Another fantastic book with an important message
Love this, one of our new favourites. I love the story that this gives to children. Many adults could do with a copy of this. A beautiful story, cleverly done, that teaches children that it doesn't matter if you're from somewhere else, or a different colour. That you can love each other, that you are no different to each other. It teaches that those who have biased can be wrong and can change. It's not some political push on children mind, or religious. Just a nice story with a very important message!

Yet another fantastic Julia Donaldson!
My almost 5 year old little girl has every Julia Donaldson book, so when I noticed there was a new one she was releasing I got very excited. Once available I ordered it straight away. My little girl couldn't wait for me to read it. It's like a children's Romeo & Juliet (but with a happy ending) and I LOVED the ending! She thoroughly enjoyed it and the illustrations were brilliant as usual thanks to Axel Scheffler. Look out for the sneeky Gruffalo reference that he likes to add into many of the books.

Disappointed
I brought this book for my children to read as we love Julia Donaldson books, but I just didn't enjoy reading this one. There were too many made up silly names in the story which was annoying trying to pronounce them and I could just tell this book was engaging for my children. I'm going to donate this book to friends

Wonderful story of appreciating diversity
Such a wonderful book! Teaches a crucial lesson to children in a beautifully simple and entertaining way. Should be compulsory reading for all our little ones.
