PCOS: I cannot recommend this product enough. First let me say that I'm not an herbal supplement-type person. The only time I've ever even taken a vitamin regularly was when I was pregnant! I was diagnosed with PCOS in my mid-twenties and have always *tried* to maintain it with diet and exercise. That all changed after I had my child at 33. I don't know if something messed with my hormones but the first year after my son was born, my blood sugar was WACK. It was brought to my attention by my eye doctor who tested me twice in the same year and he said the change in vision was so significant that I HAD to have blood sugar and insulin issues. I finally decided that I couldn't control it with diet and exercise alone so I asked my doctor for metformin. Metformin was OK. But when I upped the dose to the recommended does for PCOS I was so sick I could barely function, just nauseated all the time. This and the end of the college semester for me (also taking care of a baby) did NOT a good combination make.The decision to try berberine was not something I decided on a whim. I did plenty of research; pretty much read every single study on berberine on the internet and in every case I read, it proved superior to metformin. What caught my attention was that women who took berberine lost more in their waist than they did with metformin. Long story short, I went ahead and ordered berberine from this company because it was 500 mg which is what I needed, I also needed to take it 3 times per day. I've been on berberine for about 2 weeks and I can honestly say that I didn't realize how bad I felt before until I started feeling better. When you have uncontrollable blood sugar issues, you have this sort of low-grade "hangover" type feeling. That went away probably 48 hours after I started berberine. My cognitive function has improved (no more of that cloudy headed feeling) and my energy levels are through the roof. I feel so much better. I take this 3X per day about 30 minutes before meals. I work out 30 minutes a day (cardio) and I watch my carbs but I'm not super militant about it. I measure my waist every day and I've lost 1.5 inches off in about a week and a half. So obviously I'll keep purchasing this because it is a MUST HAVE for someone with PCOS. Oh, and I've also had zero side effects unlike metformin.

I bought this because I have PCOS. I have been looking for natural remedies to help my illness, and this supplement deems to be the most popular. I would strongly recommend that you do research to make sure that this supplement is for you. Berberine is supposed to be a superior alternative to Metformin, so that's why I went with it. This little pill has done some amazing things for me. With my PCOS, I have terrible insulin resistance which causes me to bloat whenever I eat virtually anything no matter what it may be. It also makes it really hard for me to lose weight along with having bad blood sugar levels no matter how clean I eat or how much I exercise. I was going to wait at least 8 weeks before I wrote a review, but I was seeing results within two weeks. The bloating has damn near diminished (of course with clean eating), I don't feel slugging or ridiculously fun after drinking a glass of water, and my weight has actually gone done dramatically. I do take this supplement with Omega-3, resveratrol, and flora probiotics all for my PCOS. For all the women out there struggling, there is a natural and healthy way to beat this!!!

I’m concerned! I’ve been using these supplements for over a year. They have worked great BUT it looks like the formula has changed? I’m not confident that the Capsules that I take now work as well as the original capsules. Look at my picture.., three different bottles and three different pills. One is bright yellow and small... one is bright yellow and larger... and one is mustard yellow and small. Did the formula change? Why is there such a discrepancy in the color and size of the capsules? I have ordered all of these bottles from Amazon.

This is very helpful in diabetes and high blood pressure.I used it for detoxification to fight my Candida infection.Overall, very nice product.
